also, annoyingly i've got a 500pt coupon for Tesco Direct - but you have to spend £20 - 2p short !!!!

pity there's no holes at the back for cables... at least from what I can see in the picture...

my 50" plasma would overhang 3" either side, you should be fine.

buy a hole saw from a pound shop :thumbsup: and a really cheap item so you are over £20

width wise I'd say yes, If it's tall don't fit the shelf or raise it. :thumbsup:

I bought the Ikea one - Bonde I think it was. It's got frosted glass doors so it keeps the dust out and prying fingers too. I butchered the back panel about for cable access but in the end I just left it off 'cos you can't see it and it's much easier to acess all the bits and bobs. In mine, I've got an AV amp, CD player, Sky+, VCR/DVD onebox, DVD recorder, Xbox and another DVD too - don't ask the why's and wherefore's:-D

Atop sits the 42" plasma and the whole thing looks very neat:thumbsup:

I think I paid about £70 but they were selling them off in the Croydon store at £40-£50 IIRC, just a few weeks ago.

No, it wasn't Bonde - I've just checked out Ikea's site and can't seeit so it may be a discontinued line. Worth a look if you're near an IKEA tho'
