just plug in my phone to this unit, stand in the sun does it charge the phone.

Not much sun about to power it!! Still a hot deal heat added 8)
You can get a simliar product off flea bay for allot less
perfect for africa or east asian countries as there will be situations where there is no power. pretty doubtful how useful it is for British weather. have not voted.
