We bought a pack a couple of weeks ago - was that impressed we went back and got some more. They are really effective if you just want a bit of light, we put ours around the decking on the hot tub and on the steps leading up into it and they are more then sufficient - they look more expensive (and in lakeland sell the identical ones for £14.99 EACH!!!)

I think so.. Give your local a ring and ask

Good find. Ordered some for C&C - heat added. Go to the Lakeland site to see what they look like in situ. I couldn't really work out how they fitted on a step from the Sainsburys picture but they are actually for wall mounting. And they are indeed £15 each in Lakeland!

Just rang my local, and they said, and I quote

We've got rucks of them, just counted about 45 boxes

Going to pick up a few for the deck, and sleeper wall I've just built (_;)

They mount on the front of the step (the vertical bit) so wouldn't be able to use on a step if it's only a board (like a ladder) - hmm, I know exactly what I'm trying to say but it's not coming out very well is it lol

I had been looking for something like this for safety reasons as i have a front step that people trip over in the dark. Thought it was a great 1/2 price bargain so popped down to Sainsburys to get a box. Cost me £157.49p. Thats the final price on the lights and the excess insurance for backing into a car into the carpark :( .... maybe i should avoid bargains for a while!

Anyone had these nicked yet?
That fixture is amusingly weak, it wouldn't of been hard to have a secure fixture at the bottom which could screw into a joint like in bathrooms.

Got mine today. Hmm they're a bit smaller than I'd imagined! Not much bigger than a TV remote. Can't complain at the price though.
