With this incredible 106cm diameter Solar System Mobile you can explore the wonders of the universe from the comfort of your own bedroom!

This Remote Controlled, motorised mobile has nine planets that actually orbit the sun. The sun also lights up and casts its glow on the detailed coloured palents. Listen to the included Audio CD to enjoy a fascinating tour of our solar system whilst watching the mobile in action - CD includes fascinating facts about each planet.

The remote control also doubles up as a light pointer which you can use to locate each planet and to make comets and meteors streak through the night sky. Each mobile kit includes nine full colour detailed planets, remote control with built-in light pointer and comet maker and the 15 minute audio CD. The mobile can be fitted very simply to a ceiling using the enclosed hardware, and as it is battery operated so there is no need to worry about connecting to the mains!

Bit out of date if there are nine planets on it... No point teaching your kids there are nine planets now. Either pull off Pluto or add on Ceres, Haumea, Makemake and Eris.

Dont forget Endor, it will make the Ewoks mad!

bloody god, making extra planets to spoil an otherwise good deal!

I got one of these last year and although it's worth the money the remote control needed modifying to work and buyers beware that the mobile itself requires screwed into the ceiling.

I think these are ok but rather noisy and the sun doesn't shine very brightly! Only two rings for the planets to move so I would have been p!55ed to pay £40 as you see in some stores!

Still, a good educational deal for the kids ;)

If you live in the UK you can save money by looking out of the window.

Just out of curiosity, how else did you think it would stay on the ceiling?

That's the solar system in your room; the laws of physics have clearly been down the pub with Lewis Carroll. Anything is possible.

Stop talking from Uranus .....

Everyone knows the model's all wrong

They wrongly made the Earth round, and all those other planets and the sun should be circling around the Earth!
