Solves mp3 player won't play when charging problem: 25cm USB POWER ONLY Extension Extender Cable - £1.59 @ eBay Rhino Cables Outlet
If like me you bought a SanDisk Sansa Clip or other mp3 player that does not play when being charged via USB, this problem should be solved by this cable.
I think the SanDisk Sansa Clip is great value but has this annoying problem - which is actually due to the USB cable used to charge it.
Also solved this problem -
"It allows you connect the appropriate device cable and charge the device through your USB port on your PC/Laptop with out opening up your webstore, itunes etc."
USB Power ONLY Cable
Type A male to type A female
22.5cm
Nickel connectors
Gold flashed contacts

Yep - Please take kudos for this. I just want the relevant people to see that this thing is available and solves a problem.

Its the normal price, which is why i didn't post it as a deal, mind you its a lot cheaper than your first deal,
try saying its not a bosch, that usually gets the mugs voting normal priced items hot
This is simply a USB extension cable that isn't fully wired, it would work with an iPod!?
But...
Can't you just eject the iPod from windows (assuming there is a similar term for mac) and just leave the cable plugged in anyway... ?
... you didn't say how much that one is though!? ;)
I think this is geared at non-ipod mp3 players... take a look at the previous discussion here:

I like the OP, will be an asset to the misk (_;) X)
Cheers.
