I got a snow globe and Santa statue with calendar ( both £10 cheaper than on Ebay!!! )

The glitter reindeers and prelit cherry trees are good value as well

I think it is minimum order of £5 now for free delivery? x

Worth a good look through , might take a while though! ;-)

The site does look a bit amateurish but dont worry the company has been going since 1967 and is a well respected supplier of products.

about them

CPC is part of Premier Farnell - a massive worldwide supplier (like RS components). I don't see why people are so nervous buying from them.

I have order from them before and they are very quick to deliver :)

They do very reasonably priced extension leads as well in case you need one to plug in all those Christmas lights! (_;)

It was the cheapest place I found for 6 socket extension leads and then happened to have a look in the Christmas reduced section and had to control myself

Yes things like the cute Christmas teddies are both OOS

I'm local to CPC based in Preston & buy regularly from them. Long established firm.

I've been using CPC at work for around 10 years. Their site is a little difficult to navigate but their service is excellent.

I had to excercise A LOT of self control at these prices , in fact removed some things from my basket and was strict with myself , no more Christmas stuff needed this year! Or so I keep telling myself!! ;)

I couldn't resist this cherry tree in the end for just £15.59 ; http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?sku=LP0745761

The same ones are on Ebay and Amazon for around £30+!!!

Might be worth a look through this pdf as well ( just type product no. into search bar ) http://cpc.farnell.com/images/en_CC/ChristmasClearance_14.pdf

I work for a large UK company and they've used either RS or Farnell as suppliers for the last 25 years I've worked for them. I've also personally used CPC many times and service has been impeccable.

Company is definitely legit, ordered several times from them without issue.

I ordered skinny Xmas tree a few weeks ago, tree arrived very quickly, although their website picture was more impressive than actual tree..

Thanks op. Got some christmas lights.

1 thing I noticed is that some of the prices on the website is different from the PDF attached above, even though the item is the same. Worth checking before purchasing as it saved me an extra quid!

For example, this link shows a set of christmas lights that can be found through checking the list contained within the get deal button above, price £14.63 exc VAT

http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?sku=LP0548461&N=0

However in the PDF it states price should be £13.98 exc VAT, and has a slightly different product number. Searching for that gets you this link:

http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?sku=LP0548413&N=0

Exactly the same product but lower price! Even the manufacturers part number is the same. Weird...

Yep I noticed that too , which is why I gave link to the PDF as even the teddies and wreath were a little bit cheaper in the PDF magazine prices , worth getting the mags in the post I should imagine and using the product numbers on there x

Nice post! :) We have used CPC loads, very quick delivery. Only one thing that does annoy us is they send catalogues out what feels like every week and despite emailing them to take us off of the distribution list, we still get them! x
#34
Rubbish post.
#35
Do they use courier or Royal Mail? I know it's a very busy time of year, just wondering roughly how long it will take to arrive so I know where to have the order sent. ;)

As others, we have used CPC for many years. One fly in the ointment is the current delivery times. They used to deliver free next day virtually all the time but they quote 3-5 days. Some of our orders have taken 8 days and we have one outstanding from the 3rd December. If you are desperate for the xmas lights then £2.99 + vat for next day isn't too shabby.

Got some of the growing christmas trees for filler presents, some cheap crackers for the niece and dog, some fake snow and some other bits and pieces I've been meaning to order, but didn't have enough to go over the spend limit.
