I've just bought one of these and it's great... this is the cheapest price I can find by miles. A great bit of BBQ kit.

Description from website:

Son of Hibatchi Grilletto is one of the most versatile charcoal barbecuing systems for home and travel. The ingenious blast furnace concept with the chimney effect enables you to be cooking in less than 10 minutes and assures consistent heat under the grills. With 170 sq. in. of cooking surface and a convertible roasting oven, this power house barbecue can cook anything from hamburgers and hot dogs to a Chateaubriand. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner, when you are finished cooking this grill folds into a self-cleaning oven and self-extinguishing barbecue. Then simply insert Son of Hibatchi Grilletto into the Snuff Out Pouch. This pouch has a flame-retardant lining, permitting you to pack up the barbecue immediately after eating and take it with you or store it for use at your next meal. On top of that, Son of Hibatchi Grilletto saves the unused charcoal for later use. This saves you time and money.

I'm very tempted by this even though I have no money. I can't remember if this won on the gadget show cus I always watch'em via youtube and I tend to skip through sometimes but it was my favourite out of the tested :-)

I think the gas bbq won, not this one.

Indeed it did, but if I remember rightly it was £2000? Or was that the other one? I think this was second... either way, a quality bit of kit, especially if you like camping or BBQ picnicing.

Ha ha... I was only out by a multiple of 10!

It must have been the third one that was close to £2k!

Arrived today and whilst it does seem to be a decent product overall I do have a couple of small issues. One of the holes that the handles go into wasn't drilled correctly so the handle wouldn't fit and the logos are stencilled on a little sloppily. Not major problems (well not if you have a drill and metal bits) but for £50 it'd have been nice to have it done right.

The real test will come when I fire it up later on:thumbsup:

Took our grilletto camping with us and the feet fell off!! They are sending us a replacement and told us to keep the original as a spare!

I was camping last week, hence the lack of replies.

Mine has been brilliant. A really good purchase... it's much cleaner to use and pack away etc than any BBQ I've ever taken camping before.
