From Garth Jennings, the director of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy comes Son Of Rambow a comedy about friendship, faith and the bizarre business of growing up!

Will, (Bill Milner) who isn't allowed to watch TV or go to the movies, expresses himself through his drawings and illustrations until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter (Will Poulter), the school terror and crafter of bizarre home movies.

Carter exposes Will to a pirated copy of the first Rambo film, First Blood, which blows his mind wide open. Against his family's orders, his imaginative little brain begins to flower in the world of filmmaking. Will and Lee become popular at school through their films, but when a French exchange student, Didier Revol, arrives on the scene, their unique friendship and precious film are pushed to the breaking point.

Same price at Amazon.

Sorry, I'm dyslexic today!

Obviously due to the after effects of the champers I toasted the New Year with last night!

It's £5.98 at Amazon.

Strange little film. Not really worth the extra for BluRay as it was a low budget affair.

I'd agree about it being a mediocre film, not really worth watching on blu ray due to the filming style.

Definitely more of a hire or borrow than I buy I'd recommend...

Aye.This film got a lot of rave reviews, but I found it rubbish and a big disappointment.
