From Garth Jennings, the director of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy comes Son Of Rambow a comedy about friendship, faith and the bizarre business of growing up!

Will, (Bill Milner) who isn't allowed to watch TV or go to the movies, expresses himself through his drawings and illustrations until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter (Will Poulter), the school terror and crafter of bizarre home movies.

Carter exposes Will to a pirated copy of the first Rambo film, First Blood, which blows his mind wide open. Against his family's orders, his imaginative little brain begins to flower in the world of filmmaking. Will and Lee become popular at school through their films, but when a French exchange student, Didier Revol, arrives on the scene, their unique friendship and precious film are pushed to the breaking point.

Writer-director Garth Jennings and producer Nick Goldsmith, who as Hammer & Tongs have made music videos for such groups as Fatboy Slim, Supergrass, Blur, and REM, follow up their 2005 film, THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY, with the charming indie SON OF RAMBOW, a love letter to the movies.

SON OF RAMBOW stars Bill Milner as Will Proudfoot, a shy, reserved young boy who is different from the other kids because his family is part of the Brethren, a religion that shuns the outside world, not allowing him to have friends at school or to watch television. While in the hallway in school one day because he can't watch an educational film in class, Will gets into a fight with Lee Carter (Will Poulter), a tough kid who gets into trouble all the time. Lee forces Will to help him make a homemade version of the Sylvester Stallone film FIRST BLOOD, but after watching the original, Will is captivated by the movie and writes his own sequel, casting himself as the son of Rambo (he misspells the name of the character). Will and Lee use their imagination and lots of grit to get the project off the ground, bonding as only blood brothers can. But soon the entire school wants to participate in the movie, including ultra-cool French exchange student Didier Revol (Jules Sitruk), jeopardizing the integrity of the production as well as Will and Lee's growing friendship.
Milner and Poulter, both making their feature-film debuts, are engaging as the lead characters. Jennings sets SON OF RAMBOW in the 1980s, before cell phones, digital cameras, and YouTube changed the way people communicate. Amid a soundtrack that includes music from such seminal period bands as the Cure and Depeche Mode, the two young boys learn about family and friendship, jealousy and ego as their carefully controlled worlds threaten to implode.

Is there anyway of listing HOT deals without having to trawl through these endless posts about average films and cd's at average prices?

Try it. Find what you consider to be a hot deal, then post it for us all to see. I find that much more rewarding than leaving complaints/moans in threads that people have taken the time to find and post. Emmajk42 wrote a very comprehensive and excellent guide for newcomers to HUKD here: - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/
It’s well worth taking a look at.

Sorry. I thought I had.
People find, what they consider to be a bargain and they post it. We cannot account for individual peoples tastes. For example, if people only posted deals that you deemed "hot" then it would be "Hot Red Devil Deals", and as it is Hot UK Deals, deals are posted taking into account the good people of the UK. Just because something you don't think is hot doesn't mean the rest of the UK think the same. If you only want to see deals that you consider "hot" then, like I said in my previous post, try it; give it a go. Post a deal. It really is quite rewarding to help people in their search for a bargain. If you do not want to see new deals, and would only like to see deals that have already been made "hot" then select the "hot" tab at the top, rather than the "new" tab. However, you are more likely to miss out on a bargain using the website this way. Good luck with your first deal that you post. Like I say, please refer to Emma's guide. It is excellent. Hope that helps.

Yes there is.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/custom-settings

and set the heat threshold to something much higher, e.g. 200-300. That way you will get deals which are much hotter.

And guys lay off him, he makes a fair point. Not everything on HotUKDeals is a great deal, IMHO this is a very average price for what is not exactly a blockbuster. I appreciate the effort people put in to find deals but some of them are just not that great and there's no point beating around the bush.
