Its a pretty decent offer. For anyone wondering, to camp it is about an extra £38.50pp.

Good deal! Thanks for the extra info too.

This is how much Sonisphere should be, it's always been cheaper festival since it is a smaller one, they put the price up a lot this year ! With the poor line up it really should be this price anyway but this is a decent deal for anyone who misses out on Download or wants to relive a good festival !

Line up is a bit hit or miss but a good offer. Voted hot

Incredible offer. So frustrating that I bought my ticket on Friday!
#6
Never paid more than £100 for weekend pass with camping and that's what it should be. £120 + camping is still way too much for it.

Maiden, Metallica, Prodigy, Def Tones, who the hell do you want to see? Lynard Skynard? Queen with the resurrected remains of Mercury? You want the moon on a stick, lad.

The first festival I went to at the tender age of 16 was Reading 1987 and it cost £25.00 for a weekend ticket :)

Glad I'm too old to be bothered now.

There are some good bands there but they're the kind of bands that have been at every festival over the years. I've seen them all multiple times. There's no one 'unique' e.g. Green day/RATM that have made appearance over the past few years.

For those saying £120 is too expensive, can you tell me when in the last 4 years you've been able to see prodigy metallica and maiden for under £120? Concerts are more expensive than they've ever been and all three headliners here are generally £50 minimum per ticket at their own shows, throw in the rest of the acts and it's actually quite cheap, I know a festival isn't the same as their own shows but these 3 acts are as good at festivals as they are at their own shows. With the team rock and magazine sub added in it's a great offer. Are they still alternating between stages like they used to so acts don't clash?
#14
Looks like Soni is struggling to sell tickets again this year....
#15
What about all the people who supported the festival and ordered there tickets ages ago and paid full price.. how about a loyalty reward that includes everyone not just something to try and push a few more ticket sales.

Lol babymetal are awesome.. didn't realise they were there.

Have Queens of the Stone Age ever played at one of these? They're one of the few 'rock' bands that interest me these days.

That's good, well good in an exhausting way, I was shattered last time i went to sonisphere with the running back and forth between stages. I don't know why they struggle to sell out, if you don't sell out your metal festival with metallica and maiden you never will

QOTSA have never played Sonisphere. They played Download in 2013 and are co-headlining with Paramore at Reading/Leeds Festival this year.

Metallica
Mastodon
Gojira

All on Sunday night alone. Three of the best bands around.

We found the perfect mound between the stages so just had to spin ourselves around to see the next band on stage. After a couple days of no sleep and heavy drinking we just tried to limit all physical activities.

I noticed Chas & Dave are playing, thats gotta be worth the entrance fee :)

Must not be selling so well this year. First one I've not been to as bar the headliners and a few lower main-stage bands, the rest of the line-up doesn't take my fancy. Ditto for Download.

Bargain, especially as I paid full price for mine months ago...

Hopefully Prodigy will be playing new tracks from their upcoming album, will be my 39th time seeing them live, 21 years since the first time in Swansea back in '93.

But.... they did this when they sold out, not to mention other festivals do similar deals

Brilliant!! Thanks a lot! Certainly going now! :) \m/

I ended up getting them with camping from Stubhub.co.uk
After the parking ticket it was £5 cheaper than this deal, for ticket + camping + parking.
