Appear to be back in stock. I just ordered 2 white ones at 12.01pm (so 4 mins ago) order went through OK.

Just been told they sold more than they had in stock due to demand, more stock has come in today and being dispatched so should arrive tomorrow or early next week.

Do not use this company. They haven't got the stock. I rang on Monday and they said I would get by end of the week for a present. Now said maybe next week. Complete waste of time. Scam.

Cancelling my order as just received an email saying there still waiting on stock, annoyed as could of just paid £139 which isn't available anymore.

Definitely a scam, will be cancelling order Monday. Clearly no stock available. Have called them twice and each told time been told received stock today to be sent out - clearly a load of rubbish. Avoid them at all costs

Ive had the same issue, emails and phonecalls back n forth. Bottom line was, they didnt expect the demand they got and over sold, so are now waiting on sonos to deliver a whole load of stock. Ive been told they are expecting "hopefully" a delivery this week. So im going to give it until friday and if not just cancel the order, i dont believe that they have taken any money until the order is dispatched anyway. Im in no rush as it was a steal at that price, but we will see... Please do shout if any of you receive yours!

Same boat as you pal. They took the money without dispatching the order (which is a contradiction of what their website says). The person I spoke to seemed to be miffed with me because I was asking where my order was and why no definitive delivery date could be given. Terrible customer service. Said they took the money because it was a 'special' order and it was to reserve stock. Not impressed at all. Would have missed countless deals faffing with Oldrids on Sonos stuff.

Unfortunately still waiting, like i say im going to give it until the weekend. In the meantime ive just purchased a Playbar (got a sweet deal so couldnt resist) but i must say, first impressions are poor, the sound is quite muddy. Ill give it some time, but overall for the cost ive not been that impressed by the sound quality of SONOS for the money.

Call me gullible but, as disappointing as this delay is, their service on the phone to me and for them to come on here shows good professionalism and I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
I spoke to someone today and they are still hopeful of delivery to me before Xmas. Again, that's incredibly disappointing but I don't get the impression this is a con.

If it's too good to be true it generally is. I gave up and bought from a play3 from John Lewis. I hope Oldrids have learnt from this exercise. It's better to under promise and over deliver.

Just an update for those who might be worried. The 2 I've ordered were despatched on Tues and due for delivery tomorrow with FedEx according to tracking details. Yes they are delayed but speaking to them on the phone they've been honest with the situation. They hadn't realised that the offer was on HUKD and the Telegraph website and pulled the offer when they arrived to find a mountain of orders far higher than expected. As far as I know they are despatching on a first come first served basis. I ordered @ 08:22 on the 24th.
Good things come to those that wait.

I just got off the phone with them, dispatched and due for delivery for me today. FYI, apparently if paid by paypal, their system didn't allow them to send dispatch notifications, hence you might just receive a fedex tracking number without further details.

Apologies to everyone still awaiting delivery of their Sonos order, we are trying to rectify this situation as quickly as possible and have escalated this issue with our suppliers who are due to provide us with another update tomorrow morning, which we will communicate accordingly.

We fully understand the frustration this issue has caused (particularly on the run up to Christmas) which is sincerely regrettable and apologise for the inconvenience.

In addition to addressing the stock situation, we have increased our staffing levels to assist with the queries being received and apologise to anyone that has not yet received an update which is being addressed.

Mine arrived @ 7.30am today. All good in the end, wont hesitate to use them again after their professionalism in dealing with this.

Sonos Update

Following further discussions with our supplier it has become apparent that whilst it was always our expectation to be able to fulfill every order pre-Christmas, we are frustratingly no longer able to guarantee that this is the case. Sonos continue to work extremely hard in an attempt to meet our requirements but sadly on the back of unprecedented demand for the Sonos Play 1 in white and black over the Black Friday Weekend, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that they will satisfy 100% of our requirements this side of Christmas for these two lines.

As a consequence we would fully understand if any customer would prefer us to process a cancellation of their order which will in turn release any funds which may have been held to complete the order with us. Of course if any customers are happy to continue to wait for their purchase at this market leading price we will continue to work hard with the supplier to complete the order as quickly as we possibly can.

We will be contacting all customers to advise of this situation.

In the meantime, Oldrids & Downtown would like to apologise for this matter and the frustration that this may have caused.

I asked for a refund. Unfortunately I found their lack of communication and their attitude to the whole situation quite poor. I won't be using them again, the minimal saving on the purchase was not worth the hassle in my opinion. I went with the Crampton & Moore deal on here, and have received fantastic customer service, and more importantly what I ordered, with updates on the current status of my order.

I've just cancelled my order and included the following reason. Over promise and under deliver. It's ok giving updates over email, but great customer service companies know how to recover when they make mistakes. To quote Richard Branson, mistakes are inevitable but dissatisfied customers are not. You could have offered free next day delivery when the items finally came back in stock but dispite my request you instead send me a "boiler plate" response!

I received the same email as ameeds above about no longer being able to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery, but received this yesterday following my complaint:

"As this is a constant changing picture, I am actually pleased to report that we received another drop of these today and we are processing all orders on a first come first serve basis…Your order is one of the next to be sent."

And have just received despatch confirmation, so it should be here later this week.
