if you log onto the website and follow through with the normal steps it will convert for you(just dont press confirm). folk on the last post also said to use your credit cards exchange rate but I couldnt be bothered. I saved 60 quid on the play 5 an hour ago.

if you have a good card that doesn't load and uses daily FX rate from Visa or Mastercard then you should be ok...Post Office, Santander Zero, amongst others

Good find, voted hot, cheapest in Europe by a tenner even before delivery and way cheaper than anywhere in the UK.

BTW it's actually about £280 if you use you're own card that doesn't charge for euro transactions ;)

When you chose your card which should be there from your UK account it's there, also right at the end you should have a radio button to chose eur/gbp...if still trouble get a google translate on the go :)

All amazon sites are layed out exactly the same in terms of location of buttons, so for example your orders page is two down in the drop down menu on the right "pedido" and so forth.

I think the problem with getting it to charge you in euros is that you can chose when you first add the card the currency to use, if you chose gbp it won't ask you again if you want euros....google it. I can't remember exactly and my head hurts.

Use chrome and google translate or just google translate. Google it up

Yes, either that or you'd need to purchase a replacement lead with a figure of eight connector on the end. I got a Play:3 for Christmas and am deciding how I want to expand the system in my house already

I've just ordered a play 5 - was going to buy a 3 in currys yesterday but out of stock. For an extra £30 and a few days I have a 5 coming.

Also used the halifax card which is great for Euro's so will see what it comes out as when the statement arrives!

Happy Days

Was this purchase done with your amazon uk account details or do you have to set up an account with amazon.es.
I have just placed items in basket and entered my amazon uk details only to find that it stated the items cannot be delivered to my uk address????
Have amazon closed this route of obtaining cheaper goods?

I fear the worst here, I have just tried to process an order via a new account with Amazon.es and it states that the items cannot be shipped to my address. :(

For last two posts:

you log in with your amazon.co.uk account

also only if "sold by amazon" not by third parties is there shipping to the UK available.

I have just ordered the Sonos Amp, UK price £400 for £321 delivered from Amazon.es.

Previously, about 4 months ago, I bought the Sonos Playbar from Amazon.it, again the saving, including shipping costs, was 20% on UK prices.

FINALLY CamelCamelCamel works on all Amazon sites so you can check the price history.
