not long ago i got a 3 pack from ebay for £6 which was the cheapest price, so just over a tenner is good for a 10 pack.
anyone know what the postage is though?

can these be used in any digital camcorder or just sony ones?

Quick question if any of you have time to answer it!? I've been looking into buying a Camcorder for a few weeks now, and thought DVD camcorders were the way forward. If you have a camera which uses tapes, is the only way to watch them back by hooking the camera up to your TV. Would you recommend a camera with tapes, or pay extra for the ease of DVDs? thanks in advance.

you can watch back via computer with tapes, or edit that way, or via TV as you say.
mini dv tapes are higher quality and closer to professional standard. DVD footage is compressed as it is burnt.

I had the same decision to make last year, I went for miniDV too and I'm really happy with it. Using a firewire connection allows the Pc / laptop to control your camera so editing is very easy.

Apps like Movie Maker (bundled with windows) are great to get you started and simple to use.

Amazon are also selling these tapes for £3.50 for a five pack so for an extra 22 pence you can have 15 tapes :-D

Are you sure that it's not an Amazon market place seller selling them for this price?

I too saw these and was amazed at the price but they aren't elligible for the free delivery and so worked out a lot more expensive :(
