Guys

Read in another thread on here that the 32D3000 was £600 at PC World so nipped to Teeside park pc world to grab one.

Unfortunately none in stock, only a display model, but while the chap was checking stock at other stores, i noticed the price on the screen was £500 (499.98 to be precise) not 600, the chap confirmed it had just been dropped, so jumped in my car and zoomed to gateshead retail world where they were supposed to have 2 in stock. They had 1 display model and 1 new and boxed which i nabbed, result, well pleased to say the least.

This is in store only, the 32d300 is not on the website. Stock is very scarce but worth a look at this great price

Teeside park: no stock
Slough retail park: no stock (i asked as i'm down that way this weekend)
Gateshead retail world: no stock anymore

Sorry, but regardless of brand, a 32" 720p LCD TV should NOT be anywhere near £500.

Apologies mate, but is that good or bad??

It is cheaper than anywhere else, but they are still overpriced for what they are.
I like Sony stuff, been a fan of their kit for years, just wish they wouldn't take liberties with the prices.

You have to understand just because its sony doesnt mean your just paying for the brand. Did you know that this was the best 32" tv of last year?

Most 32'' TVs wouldn't benefit from a higher resolution unless your head is too close to the screen. There's too much emphasis on resolution and too little understanding about it.

There are many differences between 32'' LCD TVs with the same resolution hence the differences in price.
