Noticed that there are some 20% off codes in your tag there, would they not work?
#2
its about to get chilly in here
#3
Why is this not a good deal?
#4
i tried a couple of the 20% off ones but couldnt get one to work? had to use the 10% one. still think its a good deal, including delivery
#5

That's what they say around these parts but personally it's never happened to me - all Littlewoods codes have been honoured when I've used them and I've never had them charge me at a later date. I honestly think there is something of an urban myth about the whole thing. I'm not saying that it hasn't happened - just that to say "a lot" of people have been affected might be overstating it.

Why would that be? Is this not the 40" version of the Sainsburys deal that went super hot last week? If it is then I believe the 40" uses a better quality panel and after Quidco it's not a whole lot more money. Seems like a cracking deal to me!

Very = LIttlewoods = Additions Direct = P*ss poor service, cancelled orders and late refunds.

good price though

I too am in the minority of not having been burned by Littlewoods, but alot have been, mostly with voucher codes not being honoured. How littlewoods works is that they charge the full price then refund you the code in a seperate credit to your card, alot of people did not get that credit on some products on HUKD.

not this TV and them again!!!!

How so? :?:

Wood, petrol, matches... the usual culprits.
#15
Because the Terms say that you can't use the codes unless you've been given them and that you have to check if you're entitled to use them.
Also people have reported that the codes weren't honoured properly.
#16
This code is advertised on their website as a first time user 10% off.
#17
Just phoned Very and they seem to think this only has a 1 year manufacturers warranty - not good if this is true. Anyone know otherwise??
#18
My deal got expired and this one comes up - been posted many times over the last few days and people keep expiring them.

Regarding the TV, there's 32", 37", 40" and 46" all available half price WITHOUT ANY CODES for superb prices + 8% quidco.

I ordered a 37" on Monday and it came yesterday. Superb service, great TV, great price. I've already listed a 40" and 46" and people expire them but whatever size you go for these are amazing prices and cannot be gotten cheaper anywhere else.

Can we get a price match from JohnLewis? greedy ? :-)
#21
Thanks Mikey1610. I was thinking the same. However I have just tried again (spoke to a different person) and they seem to think it is a 1 year warranty. Seems absolutely barmy to me!!

I ordered this yesterday, wasnt taking any chances with the codes,
with quidco it is still a great price at just over £450 quid - £100 cheaper than the best price i could find yesterday, which now seems to have gone, and around £200 cheaper than i can find anywhere else today.
Never had any problems with the company, but then i dont abuse the codes and only order things when i genuinely wanted / need them.
I think a lot of the problems comes from people who use the codes excessively or always use high value codes on pricey items.
Was originally showing as delivery on 15/04, but now showing despatched.
Looks like it'll be here by tomorrow ! wooo-hooo !
#24
This particular deal seems hot by the way, as it is the cheapest WITHOUT the code....

Therefore, use the code as a bonus, and if you dont get it you still have a good deal

Just under £420 if Quidco pay out! good deal.
#28
I've just tried order and both the 40 inch and 37inch are out of stock despite saying in stock on website. Great deal if you can get it though.:)
#29
Same here, as far as I can tell it's out of stock. Boo urns
#30
Keep checking, they've been coming in and out of stock for the last 5 days.
#31
Cheers O.P.
Got one this morning, found another 10% code that worked, free delivery and quidco tracked too. So if all works should be £405 total.
Phoned Sony about warranty. If bought by end of today its a 3 year warranty, just keep receipt. They can tell from vat number when it was bought even if its delivered later.
#32

I like how the mods didnt remove this one yet my post 24 hours ago got removed for being the same as someone elses deal which was mainly put up as the 46" version.
#34
ok im going to outline the warranty info for people as it was exhaustively covered in the sainsburys deal last week: basically the bravias 3yr warranty was extended from last year to cover sets purchased fbefore the 31st March, so i pressume today is your last day to get a 3yr warranty aslong as the recipt is down as being purchased today (not sure whether very would do it as the day delivered??), subsequently if you purchase after this date i would pressume sony are not extending te warranty any further and you would therefor be exempt,

it basically follows that outlined by amazon though the page for the bravia warranty you can get from there is for amazon only, basically ive got this info from about 3 people who spent a lot of time contacting sony with regards to this and posted throughout the sainsburys 37" listing
#35
Back in stock now just ordered the 40" with code comes through as posted £456 plus 9% quidco

look's like the 32" 37" 40" and 46" are back in stock and still all at there previous price.

The 10% code i used (new customers only) is XV169 found from myvouchercodes.co.uk

Hope this helps some of you out.

Cheer's op for posting this i was gutted when sainsbury's sold my RESERVED :x 37" blah blah blah

all i need now is decent setting's for this any help would be well appreciated:thumbsup:
#36
:oops:Just realised why my 10% code and quidco is different to the op's. My order was through the additions web site and not very. But as most of you will be aware they are run by the same people and thus making your account work on both sites. But the codes are site specific ie the code i used (XV169) will only work on additions site. Also there stock data bass is from the same system so exact same on both sites..
#37
40"/32" Sold out again:-D
#38
Anyone who ordered recieved theirs yet?
Was the discount code(s) properly refunded on your card?

I wonder if they don't whether you are entitled to get a chargeback under Visa Debit (internal chargeback) or Credit Card Consumer Act Section75.
