good price. I got this from play last nov for £18 from play

Good price but unbranded 8GB ones are only $15 at dealextreme (work on PSP but not latest camcorders), and 4GB M2's were cheaper at mymemory.co.uk (£11.99 but now £12.99). The M2's are slower on computers but work fine on camcorders and you need a ProDuo->M2 converter.

I wouldn't recommend the 'unbranded' MSDuo's to anyone. They usually lack in speed, and overall quality of that of a genuine Sony MSDuo.
Also, I have found the M2's to be terribly slow compared to the MSDuo's offered in this deal.

good price

I personally would recommend Micro SDHC to MSPD adaptor, usually works out much cheaper than the sony cards and pretty fast too. not a bad price for a mk2 though
#6
great price for mark 2 speeds

on eBay you can get: MARK2 4G 4GB MEMORY STICK PRO DUO - - - - - £8.59
so this is not a bargain... this is a ripoff ;P

Never thought of that before. The adapter at dealextreme is just over $6 (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16489) and a 8gb sandisk card is £12.49 at play (http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/-/1005/1250/-/3564175/Sandisk-Micro-SD-HC-8GB-Memory-Card/Product.html?searchtype=genre). Is that a decent option? Its a mark 1 model though. Does that make any difference for those, um, homebrew games on the PSP?

I recently bought from ebay 8Gb (from a power seller) and it did not work on a new sony digital camera (it could not store hd video..worked fine for pics)..Sony website said the reason is counterfeit memory

So people buying for new model cameras/camcorders beware !

Yep, this is the one. It takes Pro duos, just need to decide if you need a 4gb one or smaller..

Be aware that there might be issues with slow memory speeds with higher than 2gig cards on SE phones, they will hold all yer music/vids,but access might be considerably slower due to SE only allowing a max of 2gig cards .BTW i have 52 cd's on a 2gig card on my W810i & still have space for another 5 at a push :)

I need a 16gb one of these but prices are huge. If I could get a decent price on an 8gb I'd get that instead

I recently bought a Sandisk 4GB Memory Stick Duo for £8 including postage on Amazon(not marketplace seller). This is not the bargain.

Sandisk or Sony

Sony is King - Branded Product

Sandisk is Not - Poor Wanna be

Plus no fakes from play.com ---- play the percentage game 100% pure bargain
