This was recently listed here as an Argos deal at £779 plus delivery of £3.95. I was about to order one but found a cracking deal at AO.COM for £701.10 plus FREE delivery. The gross price is £779 but there is a discount code of 10% (SONY10) which reduces the price to £701.10. I have ordered from AO.COM before & customer service (particularly delivery) in my experience is top notch. I also got a further 1.57% which (if it tracks, ours did) gives a further £11 discount which reduces the cost to £690.10 with free delivery!

Yes looks like a shady ebay seller returns policy, probably illegal:

"If you've used the product

We're happy for you to unpack the item and inspect it properly, however, if you've used or installed it, we will only make a partial refund to cover the loss in value of the product. Please note, this could be up to 50% of the price of the item. Your refund will be made within 14 days of collection."

Isn't that against distance selling regulations?

Distance selling regs don't exist anymore. All covered by the sales of goods act.

What if the item is faulty will it be a full refund? Is that policy only if you change your mind?

Yes, exactly, though obviously some people don't seem to get 'it'.....

Haha I don't get the confusion, fair enough to ao if it's just change of mind not faulty!

Disagree with comments about returns service. A few months ago I had to return a washing machine & they were exemplary. None of this affects your statutory position on the event of a fault.

So, is the tv any good?

TV arrived within 2 days, delivery was excellent & TV is stunning. Cracking deal for value & service. Don't really understand some of the negativity on here - reviews are done voluntarily & in the spirit of helping fellow members.
