Lowest price anywhere online (other places selling for £56+ cheapest), and cheapest I've ever seen this. The resolution is not top of the line, but all things considered, this is a good price for a Sony frame with some added features like the remote control and interchangeable frames. About the product:

If youre used to having to choose just one picture for a frame, the E72 will bring your photo collection to life. It has a 128MB internal memory which can store up to 250 of your favourite images, and a range of display settings, so you can match the show to suit your mood. Whether your pictures are portrait or landscape, youll see them the right way up, thanks to an automatic orientation sensor. A multicard slot makes it quick and easy to move images from your digital camera or PC to the frame. If youve just enjoyed a great day out or are back from your holidays and want to relive those precious moments, pop your memory card in the slot and start the slideshow. The E72s elegant design and choice of borders will provide the perfect backdrop for your photos, transforming your living or work space into a moving gallery.
A range of clock and calendar views and a handy remote control make the frame practical as well as beautiful

Bringing your pictures to life
The 7" QVGA LCD panel has been designed to bring out the natural colours and details of your photos. Its set off by a selection of interchangeable coloured edges, which are supplied with the frame. Choose from black, brown and red, and adapt the E72 to suit any interior. Switch it on, start the slideshow and auto orientation will make sure you enjoy your photos as intended, recognising whether theyre portrait or landscape and flipping them accordingly.

A choice of displays
You choose how you view your pictures. Go for a single image, or select slideshow and take a leisurely journey through your photos. With its clock and calendar views, the E72 is more than a photo frame. Theres a huge range of displays to choose from, so whether youre after chic, colourful, practical or dynamic, you can match the style to your surroundings. Sit back and enjoy the show. The remote control lets you move between display modes without having to get up from your chair handy if youre relaxing at home, or busy at work.

Easy transfers and quick searches
Transferring your photos is easy, thanks to a multicard slot that accepts Memory Stick, SD Card and xD media. Just remove the memory card from your digital camera, pop it into the frame, turn on the power and enjoy. Theres no waiting around for images to load. A 128MB internal memory means you can store up to 250 images, saved at 2 megapixel resolution.

QVGA? thats 320 x 240; surely not? That's a terrible resolution on this size of frame.

Yep, as I said and as everybody knows, the resolution is not the greatest. For higher res, like the sony D70, you'll need to fork out a hundred quid, so it just depends on what you're after. This is a good deal at this price.

alright, calm down! my original comment was based on the quoted QVGA (320 x 240) which would be woeful.

I wouldn't pay £40 for a low res device like this, not even a Sony.
