I have read many reviews, and this camera seems to be one of the best for the price. Has excellent image quality and very fast burst mode. Seem like a great DSLR for the price which also includes GPS tagging. I ordered mine today. Must order before 24/12/10 to qualify for VAT back. Here is a link to an excellent review:

Hope this is of interest to some of you budding Photographers out there looking for a good mid range DSLR for a near entry-level price

Great camera if you're used to point and shoots and are looking to move up to a DSLR (or DSLT as this is) I got one a few months for £542 from T5 SonyStyle. Just got a Tamron 70-300mm lens and a Minolta 50mm f1.7 lens to go with it.

I have just had one of these for Xmas it came with a 18 = 55 lens and I purchased a flash gun and a Sony 75 - 300 zoom lens. I have always had point and shoot cameras and expected to have a nightmare with this as it was my first DSLT. It really is an easy camera to take great shots with. The quality of the HD video is fantastic but I would recommend getting a HD SDHC card as the normal cards struggle to record at a fast enough speed ( you really ought to look at getting a card with a read speed of 30 Mb/s ).

Great camera.
