Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player with Avatar Blu-Ray only £119.99 at Play.com!

Cheapest price I could find not to mention the free Avatar blu-ray thrown in!
Best alternative price I saw today was £134.95 at Tesco instore (not sure about online) or 139.99 at Amazon or £149 at M&S. None of which include any free discs!

I am far from a blu-ray expert but this player has great reviews!

Blu-ray Disc Player
Enjoy a movie experience worthy of your HDTV. This Blu-ray Disc player delivers superior HD images, supports BD-Live and plays your existing DVD library. Take full advantage of your HDTV and the detail of Blu-ray Disc video content. It also plays your DVDs.

24p True Cinema

x.v.Colour output
x.v.Colour output plays AVCHD-format discs with support for the international xvYCC color standard, producing images with nearly twice as many viewable colors as the existing RGB color standard.

BRAVIA Sync

It utilizes the HDMI CEC function to easily turn on and control your compatible HDMI-connected components without having to use multiple remote controls.

Faster loading times.
Quick Start Mode lets you begin operating your Sony Blu-ray Disc player approximately six seconds from the time it's powered on.

HD sound that Hollywood intended.

Exactly the same spec as the 360 - just has an illuminated remote - and more importantly still has the problem of the cat purr. :x

yeah I knew it was replaced, but reviews just said they hoped the 363 would be anywhere near as good as the 360!
#8
ps hate cats so if it really does purr it might end up being sent back!

To be pedantic, the 363 doesn't replace the 360.
Its exactly the same machine - just has an illuminated remote.

I am on my second 363, which is about to go back - others I know have had five machines, all with the problem. There are threads about the machine, 99% of people have the purring - just depends on how many movies with silence/ quiet passages in you have I guess. Once you notice it, it becomes unbearable.
Wonderful picture and spec - I am in a quandry what to replace it with.........:?

The sony guy in John Lewis today was saying he has this one (360) and loves it. the upgrade is apparently the 370 which gives you iplayer! Was tempted to send this one back and upgrade, but can watch iplayer on the pc anyway and it would decimate download limits...

The 360 was £89.99 on it's own (no movie) recently at Comet - I still have it sitting in the box, but if it 'purrs' I might have to return it.

wow! It's definitely not going for that anywhere I could find at the moment...John Lewis said they pricematched to 119.99 (no movie) over Christmas but back up to £149 there atm.

Yeah i myself was going to get this player a few months ago but after seeing it compared to my PS3 i thought i wasn't worth it for the difference so i was lucky enough to get hold of an LG BD390 for £200 which was a far bigger improvement all round.
