The BDP S380 is now out as the next generation of this player but Sony left out the wired DLNA networking capability in an attempt to force people to buy the higher priced versions.
So if you want a player that has that capability this is still a brilliant piece of kit. I bought it when Amazon/Play were doing it at this price and I just can't fault it. If you want wireless networking you may want other models that have that built in, but for me this gives me not only amazing blueray movies, and networked lovefilm and BBC iPlayer streams, but I can also play videos from my computer over the network - it's great.
