Wow, good price! Hot!

they both have the same spec, the only difference is that the sony bdps373 has a backlit remote control & the disc drive is better made, the bdps370 when I ejected it, it only has half a tray, bit like a laptops.

has to be said that the sony 350 is much better built than the 370- i have both....whats happened to sony?!!

The 373 is like the 363. Same spec as the 370 and 363 with an added back lit remote. Started off that only sony centres sold the xx3 models so that they could sell at a premium...

I have the BDP-S480 - got it free from collecting Sony Points on my Sony MBNA Credit Card.

It is probably the most flimsy piece of electronics I have ever owned - paper thin plastic tray - awful toy remote - drive whines all the time - can't get many videos with AC3 audio to work - stuttering 1080p50 video playback from my camcorder files. Yes what has happened to Sony, indeed.

Reduced prices mean crappier build quality... like all electronics sadly

sighs ... oh for the days when sony did those excellent dav units

My sony blu ray is so light, when the disc spins up, it vibrates like hell, have had to add a granite coaster to weight it down, better than two house bricks which i consdered. X)

Got one from Redditch. Replaces my BD350 that took ages to power up. This seems loads quicker and has lots of extra features.

I've had 2 Sony Blu ray players, and they're both junk compared to my Pioneer BDP320. The build quality is poor, but sadly most players seem to be heading this way.

My first, a BDPS360 started playing up just 2 days out of warranty. It stutters while playing Blurays, but not DVDs, from about1/2 way in, the picture freezes and the counter keeps going up. Sometime between 10 and 20 seconds later, it gives up trying to correct and jumps to where the counter is or the next chapter.

A glutton for punishment, I bought a Sony BDPS570 in December 2010. This is fine with Blurays, but does as the 360 above does, but with DVDs instead.

Both units are very noisy in operation, although picture quality is excellent (when they work!)

Managed to get myself one in the Southampton Homeplus Tesco (Sears Retail Park, SO15 1BA) :)

Had a bit of trouble finding them, they were stacked on the floor at the end of one of the isles, I think it was either mobile & home phones or the DVD section. Not with the TVs etc. where you would think they would be.

There were about 6 or so left around 8PM tonight :)
