Maybe reviews like this and there are others like it as well....

Lots of people already own Blu-rays/PS3 and Sony's 2011 new models offer very little improvement over there older models in fact they have taken away DLNA, Divx and SPDIF on this model from the 370 so why upgrade? improvements are usually why new models are released not downgrades. Most people who own other manufacturer models will already have most if not more features for around the same price, than what this offers and Sony machines certainly don't offer better PQ or AQ over most other makes so why would they swap it for to this?

Seems to have only taken Sony/retailers 2 weeks to realise this hence a £30 (20% drop) in that time.

Personally I can only see mostly new 1st time owners wanting this, and if they do there research there are other players with more features than this available now and in the next 6 months for around the same price

Also worth noting- the fast 370 disc loading times have been downgraded, with the 380 taking twice the time to load discs! Not sure what Sony were thinking with this machine.
