Will be £142.73 if the VAT paid is refunded.

The inclusive VAT is 17.5% of the ex vat price, not 17.5% of the vat inclusive price.

Do you not have to buy it from a Sony Centre?

The offer is posted on the Amazon page, go and look.

I paid £150 for one of these a few months ago last time Amazon had an offer on. A great bit of kit. I rarely miss the PS3 my son took upstairs. This loads Blurays much more quickly and the internet streaming functions are really impressive. (Just wish there was some way of connecting a keyboard - it would make searches much faster.)

Unlike many BluRay players it remembers where you were watching when you switched off (handy when you're working your way through the entire 5 series of The Wire) even if you eject the disk by accident and put it straight back in again!

If you have an iphone, then you can download the Sony app which controls the player over wifi AND more importantly allows you to use a keyboard for search, etc. Not sure if there's a similar app for android, etc.

I think it's called BD Remote?
