Cheapest I've seen this. Free delivery too!

The Sony BDP-S360 is a Blu-Ray and DVD (multiregion) player, also supporting CD, JPEG and MP3 formats, and the AVC-HD high definition video format. With a compact, sleek design, fast operation and fantastic picture quality, the BDPS360 is a great value Blu-ray player.

The BDP-S360 can deliver "1080p", the highest resolution video found on Blu-ray discs, creating an incredibly stable image on your HD ready flatscreen. The player also supports video at 24 frames per second which, on compatible displays, delivers films at exactly the same frame rate as they were shot. Compared with conventional 25 frame video playback from DVD this delivers a truer image with smoother motion: it's the closest you'll get to what the director intended. The BDP-S360 also upscales DVDs to 1080p high-definition, so your existing movie collection will look better than ever.

The Sony BDP-S360 also boasts high definition audio playback in the form of Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. The player is capable of 5.1 and 7.1 channel output of the highest quality soundtracks via its HDMI output, delivering the best movie sound to your sound-system. If your amplifier can't process HDMI audio the BDPS360 is equipped with coaxial and optical digital outputs.

The Sony '360 also supports the latest BD-Live Blu-ray profile, meaning you can download extra content such as games, deleted scenes or trailers for compatible discs. As if that weren't enough, this great player is operated using Sony's intuitive XrossMediaBar graphic menu screens, making it easy to use as well as great to watch.

And, while stocks last, we're including three free films to get your Blu-ray collection started: Slumdog Millionaire, Angels & Demons and Terminator Salvation.

I never noticed this was multi region, and although you can do the hack yourself, its a great deal for those that cant be bothered to faff around hacking it.

At the volume Sony they're buying the films they are probably costing them pence, so selling without the films would - I expect - only knock a fiver or so off of the price.

When I bought my player it came with the disks, and so far they've sat there unplayed. Bit like the copy of Brassed Off that was bundled with one of my DVD players back in the olden days.
#18
Its coming up at £149. has it expired?
#19
ordering now! hot!
#20
Great spot OP  (especially with it being already upgraded to multi-region for DVD)

Just ordered one for the 32" Sony in the main bedroom (another HDUK deal from last December).

Once I've sold the films off, it will be a nice cheap upgrade.

Come boxing day this is goint to be £79.95 according to below link

I'd prefer to have it delivered to my home, multi-region than stand outside in the freezing cold with my fingers crossed, hoping that they will still have some when I get to the front of the queue.
#23
even for ~ £40 difference! must be rolling in it!
#24
Just had an update from SuperFi, they said that they won't be able to deliver in time for Christmas.

They also said I could cancel if I wanted to, which is fair enough I suppose.

ETA is early next week. Which isn't that bad. I chose the free delivery.

So did I.

I can wait.

braved richer sounds in watford and got one along with 3 tvs and a denon amp...bloody busy mind!
#27
the richer sounds deal is exactly the same, multi region with 3 films...
#28
I picked up one from Comet yesterday for £99.99.

It isn't multi-region, but I have access to a One for All remote which will do the job (like it did on my S350 and HXD790).
#29
does it have a usb port?
#30
Had a right old game trying to buy this from Blockbuster today, Leamington, Coventry and Solihull stores all out of stock, finally managed to get one from the Kenilworth Store - they had 2 left and said that these units had been flying out of the stores over Christmas.

Mine was advetised with coming with 3 Films - Terminator Salvation, Slumdog Millionaire & Angels & Demons, however it also came with Night At The Museum II - bonus :whistling:

Great deal at £129.99 but I'd hurry up if you want one
#31
Perhaps wait a couple of days and see what happens at CES, i'm sure sony will release something, and you never know it could be worthwhile/cheaper!
