as said in opening line from quality retailer - prc direct are ok and have bought from them but know where i would place my money!!!!

I'd rather get a ps3. Streams all my audio/video from the pc, can be used to surf the net and top of the range bluray all in one bundle.

There is a big difference between this blu ray player and a PS3. The first being the PS3 is so lound compared to the blu ray player it very quite. Also the loading time is quicker than a PS3.

Good price.

The LG is a better player, has quicker loading times, great DVD playback and can be made multi-region for DVD, you can play files on USB and also access You Tube on it.

Lots of reviews around. It's been selling at £129 too although gone up at the moment.

FFS!:p

LG review:

http://whathifi.com/Review/Sony-BDP-S360/

also seens cnet not big fan of the lg - http://reviews.cnet.com/blu-ray-players-recorders/lg-bd370/4505-9991_7-33485559.html?tag=mncol;lst

you can't compare two reviews from diff sites to prove your point when the site you use to suggest the sony is poor is also an average review for the lg as well

also neither of these players match a £500 deck for osund or picture

however for £150 the sony's a bargain

What HiFi notoriously endorses their advertisers - £300 for an HDMI cable anyone? Their reviews are.. errm.. shall we say open to question.

Useless magazine.

Look, buy the Sony if you're a brand slave.

Buy the LG if you want more features and better performance. I don't care. I got my LG at £129 so I'm sorted:thumbsup:

so your anti sony and anti what hi fi - don't lg advertise in what hi fi i think you'll find they do!!!!

this is not an hdmi review and everyones entitled to an opinion on that one even though ppl on here are very against expensive cables - only thing i would say is don't but a cheap cable for long distanes!

most ppl prob won't notice the difference between the two players on a 32/40 or 42 in tv as is the standard in many homes but put that image through a 1080p projector on 120" screen and you will see

Easy! Buy the LG and buy twice! Buy the Sony for better performance! It's a No Brainer!

You would need a brain to understand so there's no point explaining to you! :p

Errm...

Just explain why buying the LG would mean anyone would have to chuck it away and buy another brand's model. You can't 'cos they wouldn't need to do that at all.

In other words, you are a complete idiot!

Nevertheless, I defend your right to be a complete idiot:p
