Now that is Cheap i thought i had a good deal with my Samsung depends what this player is like though
That's a great price for a great player - I bought it discounted for £99 last year from Argos and have been delighted with my purchase.

Of particular note is its ability to play iplayer content via the Ethernet link - you can even choose HD content on iplayer too.

Great piece of kit.

N.B. It can also be region hacked but only for DVDs - not blu-rays

Gone in a bit blind here but for £40 you can't really complain!

Is it 2% quidco as well?

identical to Sony BDP-S360
Good price for a good player. I've ordered two for members of my family. Good spot OP!

Great price for a very good Blu-ray player, just a shame it doesn't support DivX, MKV's or NTFS, otherwise I would've ordered a couple.
Thanks anyway OP.
Heat added.
Grabbed one for the kids room.........bargain at that price. Cheers op.

WOW! its getting hot in here
Awesome find

I second this. Ordered cheers OP
Makes no sense how Blu-ray drives for computers are more than this! Bargain. Going to hold out and hope the BD-ROM's come down though... Blu-ray + PowerDVD 11 = Awesome.

If I knew what you were talking about I might agree
Can you use the USB port to watch movies on this model?
I presume these will be available in-store?
Tempting as I've only a rubbish cheap Blu Ray player that came with a free LoveFilm subscription.

However, going to give it a miss. I noticed that one feature I should have looked out for when I got my flatscreen 40" TV, was the ability to stream internet media, ideally YouTube.

As I went for the Sony Bravia KDL-40W5500 it only gives rubbish applets.

Only way around this is now to get a netbox or to get a more sophisticated BluRay player. So I'd be looking at the BDP-S373 onwards I think.
Thanks OP
nice find :)
I presume these will be available in-store?

not in mine they wernt and i doubt they will have many left after tonight on line, hope its not another hmv mess up
It shows up as £39.99 when i search for it. But then it comes up as £149.99 when i click on it.
Just went through for me at £39.99.... thanks!
obvious mis-price
Cracking price, ordered one to go in the bedroom :) Heat added.
obvious mis-price

No its not.

Or do you mean its supposed to be £399.90?

These are less than £100 all day long.
My mistake, must have come up wrong cos I'm trying to do this on my phone. Coming up £39.99 now.

Rubbish product. It melts blu-rays and clubs baby seals. Don't order.

(Some or all of the above may be entirely made up to dissuade you from ordering and thus increase my chances of my order being dispatched.)
heated and ordered, but i have a feeling this might be another "extra bass headphones" situation...
should be £149.99

all orders will be cancelled - wait and see
Cracking deal, couldn't say no for £40.

Hopefully it all goes through ok.
I give up! Tried to order twice, once through chrome, once through safari and both times I can't see the payment button after card details because of the stupid la noire advert!
