I think this is a mis-price. Someone did manage to get it at this price, but I think the price reflects the lower 360 model.

Also available at Co-op Electricals for £4 more - free delivery also.

Retails for around £220 - £250 elsewhere. £233 from Amazon.

Good luck!

2% quidco
Heat and Rep given + Ordered... A good player at an exceptional price. And that's coming from a serial Sony hater like me. Ah well, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet LOL

Co-op link in case anyone wants it...

And as others have mentioned, 2% on Quidco and (possibly, not sure) 5% on Top Cashback for the Co-op.....
Ordered. and now waiting for email to say it was mispriced. ;-)
Just got my order in !

If it does turn up then I can put the PS3 in one of the kids bedrooms and regain the front room for me and the wife, as since COD MW2 came out we have been relegated to the bedroom TV !
so theres no quidco for 123Electrical as far as i can see, and only 2% for Co-op....which makes it still more expensive than 123.

2% topcashback 5 is for beds

My Bad! Thanks for pointing that out. Will edit my post. Cheers.

Topcashback does 2%.
Says 5% for Co-op Electrical Shop for me? :?
Quidco 2% is for 1st orders only and I've used them before.

yep def 5% on there, just joined. appears theres a top up promo running too, adding atleast 1%, making it 6% for me.

order acknowledgement from E123 recd :)
good deal but i dont think it will materialise...too good to be true
Cheers - ordered
Still cheaper to use Electrical123 even after cashback though. Didn't realise they were the same site as the Co-op and just went with the store I had heard of!

according to my maths (might be rusty), Co-op comes out about 10p or so cheaper...
A chap on the avforums has spoken to Co-Op. This is the correct price apaprently.
Heat/Rep given!

How does this Sony model compare, quality wise to the equivalent Panasonic model?

For those that have ordered, what price did it cost from electrical123 and Co-Op after cashback?

ordered - lets see if it comes!
hmm, bit put off by the fact it can only stream photos over wi-fi, and only does photos from USB...
Ordered one. 123 comes out slightly cheaper with topcashback(3%).

agreed, no doubt a good price but for features it is a bit short. For me, being able to plug in a usb drive and play all my movie files including mvk's was a priority so went for LG BD370. Still a good price so have some heat from me !!
Ordered one. 123 comes out slightly cheaper with topcashback(3%).

123 - £128.62 - 3% = £124.76

Co-Op - £132.60 - 6% = £124.64

same here i have panny bd60 with the avchd sd card slot so i can record high def movies on my tz7 whack the card in the player and watch them on a 50 inch pio in hd glorious

think i'm gonna pass on this one, good deal all the same eh.

Better off holding out for a more feature rich model, or spending a bit more on the LG BD390....or a PS3.
Does any one know if the BDPS560 plays multi-region DVD's?

Ordered, thanks. Was going to buy the S360, but getting this now as it's cheaper than what I was going to pay for the S360.
This is gonna get hot

Ordered for parents xmas pressie, lets see if it is going to be delivered!! :santa:
So can this transmit films via wireless or is wireless just for firmware updates (which would be largely pointless)
Surprised that the difference in features is so small between the 360 & 560. Essentially you get a wireless connection and front mounted USB port for photos :? Of course it's a no brainer to go for the 560 at this price but I was hoping they'd at least have analogue audio ports on this model.

Worth noting that the image appears to match the model, but the one they have used for the 360 is clearly the 350.

So can this transmit films via wireless or is wireless just for firmware updates (which would be largely pointless)

Firmware, photo viewing from a PC and BD Live 'features'. So yes, pretty much a wasted opportunity.
Just to note that Topcashback extra 1%, is 1% of cashback received, not of order value i.e. for Co-op Electrical it works out as 5% + (1% of 5% = 0.05%) therefore cashback is 5.05% of order value not 6%.

Example, on Friday I received £37 cashback for post office home insurance + 37p (1% of £37 original cashback).

So using prices above

Co-op: £132.60 x 0.9495 = £125.90
Electrical123: £128.62 x 0.97 = £124.76

So still only approx £1 in it
This price has been spotted on AVForum:

Feel sorry for the guy that has just accepted £110 each for two unwanted 560's based on this price. Especially if it turns out this is a wrongly listed model.
Great price but ive just bought the LG BD390 as it reads from external NTFS drives and .MKV over 4gb work fine...

well happy..
this is a fantastic price for a great player
