Please note this is a web price special which can only be bought in-store. The price instore is £159.99.

This is a great 3D Blu Ray player and has WIFI built in which means no need to buy expensive dongles.

This is the cheapest I have have come across in the last few weeks as most I have seen have be around the £220 mark. It is still excellent value for money and still works out cheaper than buying the basic model (BDPS370) plus the Sony dongle.

I was really impressed with Richer Sounds too, just rang up the local shop before I went down to make sure they had one in stock. Picked it up an hour later with no hassle. Will definitely use them again.

IF you need the dongle that is....

Some probs with whining noise on discs, freezing whilst playing BluRays, intenet connection problems, poor build quality.

Lots of satisfied folk but be prepared to have to make one repeat journey back to shop.

No iPlayer for TalkTalk customers either!

I paid £160 from Amazon delivered (Prime) last month and couldn't be more pleased with it. You get plenty of bang for your buck, superbly featured, quick and whisper quiet. I prefer it over my PS3 for BD and iPlayer duties. Big plus point of the 570 over the 370 I understand is the extra processing it provides on Internet content. Beautifully smooth pans and no compression blocking at all on just a modest 8mb BT connection.

Haven't expienced any of the issues above, must have been lucky...

Again, bargain! I got it for £175 I think over half a year ago, excellent player, no complaints from me at all.

Good Player. I bought it with the Sony VAt Back offer before Christmas from Amazon and it worked out to about £147 ish then (including the VAT back that I received in Feb).

Very pleased. WIFI has also been good.

Obviously the x70's are coming down because of the x80's... is there much point in waiting for the 580?

I am considering getting a standalone blu ray player instead of using my ps3... would like something a bit quicker... and it needs to have 3D support... this fits the bill, but is the 580 much better? If at all?

Cheers!

I have the 370 version, internet runs fine through homeplugs, no dropouts, but does sometimes timeout.
Great box, plays all the divx stuff and mkv high res stuff.

very tempted - I've been looking at this player for ages now...

One query - anyone know if the Richer Sounds model is multiregion for the dvd? - the remote hack sounds a bit of a faff and I've always just bought multiregion straight from Richer..

Also, that Electronics today site looks rather dodgy - anyone used them?

Bought this last weekend, and very pleased so far. It is a little noisy, but can't hear it over the sound of the TV whilst it's playing so it doesn't bother us.

Why not just get a PlayStation 3?

If it's the same as most other Sony's the multi-region hack is trivially easy IF you have access to a One4All remote control - it cannot be done at all from the user remote but a One4All (often for nothing) beats hiring a special remote for ~£25!

Got mine last Christmas and it is excellent. Faultless to date, and plays Mkv's, so my WD media player isn't needed. Also has BBC iPlayer which is a real bonus.

£120 here, although I haven't checked postage costs etc.

This looks like a great deal but they don't appear to show any postage details at all. Think it may only come up when you enter your card details and by then its too late. Have to admit it didn't come up when I was looking but probably wouldn;t have gone with them. Would be interesting to know if anyone has used them before,

My dad and sister have just got this machine, and have to say I'm really impressed. The only negative from me, is it doesn't recognize a usb key formatted in ntfs.

I'm really impressed with this so far. Only problem I have come across is BBC IPlayer which keeps buffering but I think this is IPlayer and not the player its self as five od is perfectly ok

It could also be your Internet connection - what results do you get on speedtest.net?
