Didn't want to register on the website just to look, wish people would do the homework before posting deals, then its not £109.99 and no mention of if its available instore or not, hardly a good informative post is it?!

people have been paying less than £40 for these from DSG clearance stock. Call your local curry's/PCW first.

I doubt there are any of those left now, most were clearance display models, some incomplete (manuals, remotes, leads etc) This Sony model is now deleted, and besides being a profile 2.0 player its features are as sparse as the Sharp BD-HP21 (No DIVX playback), therefore for anyone that can live without the ethernet downloadable content Profile 2.0, the Sharp BD-HP21 on offer at Makro for £58 next week seems a better buy.

You don't need to register, just look & yea shall find, simples. If you actually looked you would see it doesn't say if available in store, but as it's an on line sales point I wouldn't bank on it, never seen anything like this in my local Range.

How could I possibly live without DIVX or ethernet downloadable content!!!!!! But thanks for the Makro tip I'll dust off my old card. :)

Ordered several times from The Range (usually craft stuff) items have always been recieved in timely fashion and well packaged. If a little dusty at times!
#11
We were at the Leeds branch earlier today, and I didn't see any instore.

Excellent price. I have this player and the quality is breath taking. I paid £140 for mine. It's a absolute steal at this price. I'd say get it while you can. I don't think these will be around long at this price.

I did look smart ass, but by adding the product to the basket it didn't tell me the delivery charge, I would have had to register for the priviledge. Under the delivery info field it doesn't state any fixed delivery cost, so why should I have to register to find that out for the lack of the OP doing there homework on here?

Plus WHERE does it state its not available in store on the website? it doesn't. All I am saying is the OP did not make anything clear by this post (should list prices including P+P), and there is nothing worse than a vague HUKD post. I have to admit the few times I have been in a Range store there have not been electricals, but I am not sure about now, they have recently been selling bankrupt MFI furniture and Empire Direct stock...so it was I presume a valid question pedantic sniper.

Nothing? I was thinking that being mauled to death by a tiger would be a bit worse but now you've got me wondering.

"as close as you can get to being in the cinema in the comfort of your own home"

well i went to the cinema for the first time in 18 months last week, for the princley sum of £7.50 i got to sit in child size seats watching people 2 rows in front of us almost get into a fight, whilst freezing my **** off due to over zelous air conditioning and wondering what that weird buzzing noise was coming from the projection booth.

i dont want that in my own home :)

*edit* in addition if my place becomes close to a cinema, do i have to pay 2.50 for half a litre of water?

So you lot are being pedantic too, I am far from the lazy sort of person on here, and quite often post advice for those that are too lazy to research themselves....just simply if you are going to post a deal, do it right...its not much to ask of people.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/130779/

Instructions on how to post a deal, it asks to please include postage charges..I have seen deals removed for not.

Yeah, in my opinion if you are not fussed about 2.0 ethernet downloadable content its really not worth paying the extra £50 more for this Sony player. even though currently The Range has this at the best price. Worth dusting off your Makro card, Makro mailer 20 page 6 Sharp BD-HP21 @ £49.99 +VAT offer starts 9th September.

Like I said just look, "terms & Condition", "payments". Clearly says VAT included, & 4:95 delivery added to orders, smart ****. If you actually read what I put I didn't say it says not available in store, get a life and some glasses.

As stated, it doesn't say it is available in store or not I never said you did say it was available in store. I do not need glasses, just making a point that this HUKD post is somewhat vague, the poster did not add the delivery costs on to the price (Something which is on the rules of posting) The postage charge is not clearly laid out on the website now is it, hiddne within terms and conditions...surely an average person would expect this info to be in delivery info not in terms and conditions, hence why I added one to the basket to find out, only to find you have to register.

So stop being pedantic, as well as insulting by mentioning I need glasses, its a reasonable request that someone gets their post straight by doing their homework before posting...don't see why you need to defend them over that comment

Well that's rich, it's you who have been throwing the insults, all I did was spend about a minute finding the delivery price on the web site, so thanks for elevating me to super human status, & then posting it for you! Perhaps it's available in their local store in which case they wouldn't need to include postage. Anyway enough of this nonsense, have a good day.

Notice something, there is too many "perhaps's" as I stated doesn't exactly constitute a good informative post now does it, repeating myself again, I simply stated that the info was too vague. And I think you are the one throwing around insults considering you had to have yours censored out....try reading the rules of posting in future...who knows one day you may post an informative deal yourself or help others on here and start getting some decent reputation.

Listen, your true colours clearly are coming out, I simply put that it was not a very informative post and have seen posts removed and/or amended for not including the postage cost...I simply mention and edit the original post to reflect this.

I am confident that I have posted far more CONSTRUCTIVE information on here than you have, and received ample reputation for doing so....I don't resort to trolling posts like clearly you do, the fact you have no concerns for the swear filter or riling others clearly reflects what sort of character you are.

Sorry but the Sharp is far from being a decent alternative. Loading times are shockingly bad (2mins+ on average for a Bluray) and lack of memory on board means that it will simply refuse to play a lot of discs with complex menu's.

Would be interested in more info on this, what disks have complex menus that won't play so that can add them to my rental queue and try out with the latest firmware?

cheers ordered. Good deal, but you may want to edit the title as there is a £4.95 charge for shipping that I was not aware of until I completed the order.
