For all you new owners of the Sony BDP-370 Blu Ray player, this remote control and a wee bit of knowledge courtesy of the AVForums will get your DVD playback only (not Blue Ray!) as region free.

Also works with all other Sony Blu ray players.

This baby is well under half price and if you feel you don't need it after region freeing your player then Argos will refund you no questions asked!

Thats simply not true, I had a hell of a time trying to get argos to take back a heater that wasnt powerful enough, apart from that the deal is hot

I used my Logitech Harmony 525 - took a little bit of work to set-up, but at the end it was done with one button press on the remote. :-D

Thanks for this. Just reserved for my s360 to make multi region for dvds. Here is hack codes for anyone that may want them
Full procedure for a oneforall remote is as follows:

1. Press DVD
2. Hold the magic button until the DVD button flashes twice.
3. Press 0533

4. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
5. Press 994
6. Press Magic Key (don't hold)
7. Press 00189 (if your oneforall remote uses 4 digit or 3 digit codes, use less leading zeros)
8. Press 1 ( this sets it to key 1 - it flashes twice )

9. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
10. Press 994
11. Press Magic Key (don't hold)
12. Press 00255
13. Press 2 ( this sets it to key 2 - it flashes twice )

14. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
15. Press 994
16. Press Magic Key (don't hold)
17. Press 00095
18. Press 3 ( this sets it to key 3 - it flashes twice )

19. Hold the magic button until it flashes twice.
20. Press 994

same here when i returned a petrol mower that wouldnt start - and the ful bleed value had been tightened too much by some moron - they said i had to remove the petrol...i said how? then they said contact the manufacturer - i said id only bought in less than 1 hour before - i said id leave it at the entrance with a sign to not shop there - i got a refund - morons

lol, think ill stick with my logitech harmony one - cost me £80 but worth the extra compared to this yesteryear rubbish

Unless they say "this item is excluded from our 30 day return guarantee", and it is in perfect condiction, I can't see why there would be a problem? Argos are one of the better companies to deal with, unlike say Aldi.
