Why is this going cold? Seemed like a good deal to me... am I missing something here?

The spec of the TV is not that great and there are far better deals to be had for less money like this deal of a few days ago this set is in a whole different league from the Sony.

As this TV is only 49", the 55" would be more expensive. If your paying something like £1200 for the 55", why would you settle for a LCD when you can pay only £300 more and get OLED? Every time I've also seen a Sony in store and tested low quality material, (something like 4 music,) its looked like a dogs dinner compared to the opposition.

You can pick up last year's XD80, which rtings reckons is a better TV, for around £600 and the sound bar for £240.
