Good price, I paid £625 for this last year. Great telly.
is it worth the extra 30 quid for 32"
is it worth the extra 30 quid for 32"

Now that is a bargain!
26" for £509, this may be the cheapest for this set, but its vastly overpriced for a 26" LCD.
I wouldnt say vastly overpriced, in fact its the cheapest ive seen this model. Compare overpriced to the £800+ JVC models that JohnLewis stock, or the new Panasonics at £700, or even the old Panny at JohnLewis totalling £1100 lol !! All 26", all total rip off prices. It seems this corner of the market is open to totally taking the p*ss out of the consumer - especially when some of the time you can add an extra £50 and get the 32" version of the same model.

Like i said, not overpriced for a name brand 26" in fact a good price... just a rip off from the named companies cashing in on this corner of the market.
you found anything yet squelds?
Lol not yet my friend... would have gone for the Tosh 37 through a friend, but they sold out ULTRA quick ;-) As far as 37", i might hold out on the new Tosh to see if prices start to fall - £699 entry price so may come down soon. For my kitchen the 26"ers have been holding their expensive prices for months now. I looked at this sony before xmas and said when it went down under £500 i would get one... now im having second thoughts as the 37"ers aint that far off in price, and my front room comes first hehe :-)

Trouble is with this site... you get indecisive due to all the new bargins, then when you decide on something its already sold out coz you fart arsed around !! Someday soon though... i gotta get me a new telly !!

PS... for any1 looking at a decent name brand 26" - this one is very good in the flesh, Id say second only to the new Panasonics. If you have the cash for this, then id go for it.

Is the right answer.

LCD's/Plasma prices are dropping like a lead baloon.
The Bravia is a badge of quality. You always pay more for the best.
This is the cheapest of the best...
In case my message can go back in time I am about to buy this TV for £30 used :)
