This model is newer and seems a lot cheaper. 30000:1 contrast. £359.95.

Not sure what is so great about this deal?

Now for the best in TV I would buy this.

http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=SONY-KDL40Z4500

Its only £1259 in store and it has 200hz scanning. Most sets dont even have 100hz. For reference Dixons are charging £1,467.10 for this. Richer sound would charge 10% for 5 yr warranty.

http://www.johnlewis.com/230528767/Product.aspx

£1850 with 5 yr warranty and free blu ray player on John Lewis.

Its only £900 or so more and 40 inch. 80,000:1 contrast ratio and a lot of other stuff too.

Its worth visiting store to just view. :whistling:

Although obviously check for stock.

Do not buy in dec 2008 or Jan 2009
Wait 90 days (3 months- march 2009) to buy a HDTV, as prices will dramatically fall.
You will regret for not waiting.
Secret tips on the link above.

Are you going to post this rubbish in every thread?

1st of all it aint rubbish,
2nd im not gona post it on every thread, only those that are relevent which i have done.

i would like to pass the useful knowledge to people that are thinking of buying the tv after xmas or in jan to save money. They will save considerable amount more if they buy in March.

i and alot more people will be waiting till March till the prices come down considerably.

Have you even tried clicking your link?

And even if it did work tampabayonline.com is hardly a source of any note at all.
