Ordered one and voted hot.
Price is £499 on website but discount is applied on the final stages of purchase.

Potential quidco deal on this as well?

That is not a 1080p TV! This is a normal HD Ready TV.

The price is still £399. Look at the box in the bottom right (outlined in green).

They're probably using a pic of the 37"/40" version.

It's a 1080i though. A slight shame, but still looks good in real life.

WRONG! :p

Resolution is 1920 x 1080 therefore it IS a 1080p set. It's also got the 1080 logo on the screen of the set! :whistling:

how is that better value? it's slightly more expensive and is only a Toshiba - this is for a 1080p Sony set with a 5 year warranty!

The 32" S5500 is not a 1080 set, M&S have made a mistake with the picture and the spec, it maxes out at 720p/1080i.

The resolution they've quoted is for the 37" and 40" versions of the TV.

Confirmation that you do not know what you are talking about.
It is ONLY HD Ready(720p) not full HD(1080p) :whistling:
Do you know the difference from 1080i and 1080p?
