1. It's not guaranteed whether you get one, and
2. is 3-year warranty extra
3. You need to have access to Richard Sounds (no delivery)

All considered Play is the better deal!

The point is, the TV price is dropping, and you won't get it until the New Year from Play anyway.

This deal was originally posted at £399 on an earlier thread and from memory, there was an issue with this warranty. It had been claimed if you claim after say 16 months it invalidates all the remainder of the warranty i.e. one claim cancels the entire warranty.
With this in mind I bought from John Lewis who offer a 5 year warranty on all there TV's. Shortly after I purchased it there was a price war going on with Comet, Currys & PC World with this TV and they were selling them for £329.95.. Originally, I purchased at £399.95 but claimed the £70 back successsfully from John Lewis as if they reduce there price within 28 days of purchase you can claim the money back.

for those of you who already own this TV. what is the TV like?

Currys do pricematch. I went in store and asked them also confirmed via email.

Initiall all stores say no- you have to hassle them. Tell them term and condtions the rules apply.

its within the distance, its in stock brand new. And they will price match, Also currys will give 10% of differnce.

Reviews for the tv seach and check out AV forums.

Some say the Panasonic is better

it's fairly recent they have changed the T&Cs, but kudos for anyone who gets them to knock ~£152 off the price!

The same model is available for £349.00 at Sainsburys.

Amazon have reduced the price to £349.99 as well.

If you want to buy one of these from either Play or Amazon then be aware that the 3 year warranty is only available for TVs purchased between 24th November and 24th December, so if you don't buy it by tomorrow then you will not get the 3 year warranty.
