Good price but this TV is obviously one that Sony want to shift as it's on offer at this price in a few places (Sony Centre, Amazon, Comet, Richer Sounds) + the 32" model is on offer in most of these stores too.

Sony Centre deal (though according to that thread they are franchised stores so perhaps not available in all of them?) looks to be the best as it includes a 5-year guarantee. Certainly seems to be a pretty reasonable TV and a good deal at the price it's currently on offer at.

i have this one - Paid £500 in the spring. It is a good model, you can plug in a hard drive and play a lot of video formats and connect to the internet for Youtube and I player if that is your thing. I keep music and all the family snaps on the hard drive as well.
Sound quality is good as well, much better than my old 32" Phillips CRT

One of the less enthusiastic reviews on Amazon warns us that it does NOT have WIFI as such, the description says WIFI LAN ready. The "ready" bit should warn you that you will need to fork out more dosh for a wifi adapter. Seems to be a common complaint about Sony and their marketing practices, remember the PSP where you had to buy the (non) optional memory stick to be able to play most games, since most games try to save their progress and without it a lot of the games refused to play?

Lots of TV deals...still waiting for the right one! Would prefer a 37" with Freeview HD but am tempted by many of these offers.

That bezel looks huge?

Would annoy me, all that real-estate wasted! :L

also this price at Richer Sounds if you have one nearby.

Menu system is based on the PS3 menus and is very nice to use, haven't got one just saw it in the the shop this morning.

good find, i imagine Sony are trying to get rid of a lot of stock as they have a new line up soon, probably with google tv enabled as they do in the states.

@malibec2005 Who delivered yours? Mine is down as city-link but still waiting on delivery, was meant to arrive on Tuesday last week. City-link won't answer their phones.

I went and bought this TV from Amazon as I thought they were more reliable than Play. Amazon claim to have lost the TV and as the price of the TV has increased they can only offer a refund.

Gutted.
