I mean LED!
How does this compare to KDL42W829(3D) or the KDL48W585BBU(no 3D and 48") - any other scoring point this has vs the others mentioned, did you do that research - I am confused between these 3 models as all have almost similar price points give or take a few.
Motion blur drove me mad...
No sign of motion blur on mine.
Cracking picture, works well with Ps3 and 4.
w8 is the newest model
w8 is the newest model

Indeed is (8 > 7 :D ) - but what does it have that this W7 doesn't have to warrant paying a 100 quid extra - sorry to sound like a noob?
been looking at the w7 and w8 for a wile now the w 8 is 3D and apparentley a better panel
nob myself but have the same issue

W8 has 3D support
Just got the w8 very happy with it

Where did you end up buying it from as Currys, Tesco, JL and amazon all have had offers on it in the last week or so?

Whats the browser support on this TV like - I believe it doesn;t have flash support so you cant watch streamed content on the TV directly from the webpages?
This model does have a delay after turning the unit on, before the remote will work though.
Just tried it and you are right,
looks to be opera browser and streaming is out of the question.
I bought this tv on amazon 1 month ago for the same price and had nothing but trouble with it , I am in the process of sending it back, not hot!

What troubles - can you please elaborate so that it helps others like me (who are so confused right now :D ) to make up our minds.

Great Picture, very clear, clean and sharp in HD, pretty good in SD, little soft but most HD tv's are.
Consoles look awesome on this, esp PS4, Destiny looks amazing.
Next to no lag when playing games.
Sound not bad considering, but mine's hooked up to surround sound and have no issues there.
Built in WiFi and HDFreeview work fine.
Apps not as plentiful as Samsung or LG.
Streaming doesn't work through browser, but I use PS3 and TVersity for that.
Not 3D, but depends if you require that, I don't.
Doesn't have all the catchup services, Samsung does. Weirdly, PS3 does so I use that.
As with anything, It's down to what's important to you and what fits your budget.
I wanted a 42" tv, Sharp clean picture with no DSE, Low lag for gaming, and that worked well with a PS4, the 605 has Jelly issues!!
Been very happy with the tv since getting it on Black Friday from JL for same price as mentioned, after Richer Sounds let me down.
Everyone that has seen it has also made favourable comments.
What's the jelly issues with the 605? Been looking at the 48W605 myself.
Try a search on Youtube for 605 with PS4.
Not quite sure how to describe it, but it ain't pretty.
No issue with the my 705.
