Since this, 'TRILUMINOS', is in caps and of clearly of high importance, what is it?

I spent an hour in PC World talking to the specialists

Sorry, buy no...unless you are being ironic?

Always remember what Mark Twain said: 'Never argue with Currys salesmen. They'll drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience''.

V disappointing start to Black Friday from Amazon... Low speck Sony (not true HDR) and a similar LG deal. I hope some other retailers pick up the pace but looks like they're selling to people who think it's a "Black Friday deal" so must be good. I agree with iz123456789; I wouldn't even buy at £629.

Does anyone know where I can find a good reference to compare HDR TVs across mfrs?
e.g.
Bit depth (8 bit, dithered 8 bit or 10bit panel)?
What type of backlighting (static edge lit, dynamic edge lit, dynamic back lit)? also number of backlight zones for dynamic
Screen tech: standard White LED backlit LCD, OLED, Quantum dot (blue LED) etc
Panel Type (VA, IPS etc)?

Thanks in advance!

Its 8 bit + frc & IPS as per displayspecifications website. Most retailers claim 10 bit though. Personally I did not find any problems veiwing content of all sorts. Its been great value now for me for the smart features it packs. Android is fab on this. Showbox is shambles sideloaded but Kodi preinstalled is great. Can pair dualshocks or any gamepad to play android games. A plethora of apps. Realistic colours, so chose this over Samsung which was looking artificially bright on colours. I can recommend this. Has not gone down in price after cyber monday black friday week for £649. 55" mighr be better choice. Cheaper maybe next yr when true 10 bits come. It does not matter for me as this replaces a 32" 10 yr old HD ready samsung LCD and should do me goid for a few yrs to come.
