Great TV - my mate loaded Kodi on to his... no need for installing tons of extra apps like iPlayer, ITV Player or 4OD ;-)

I have this TV and it's not HDR nor do Sony plan on updating it. I've been on at them for months for an update but they said it's not coming

Maybe the title needs changing, if it says HDR and it isn't...

LOL, well you could apply that logic to virtually every HDR TV on the market!

So you're suggesting that HUKD members regularly describe TVs as HDR in their thread titles when they aren't HDR?

I'm saying virtually every HDR TV being sold as an HDR TV technically isn't given they pretty much all fall short of the standards required to display HDR properly, in respect to brightness and colour gamut... every 50"+ TV under £1K falls in to this category, with the Samsung 55KS7000 being the only exception, if you can find it on offer that is.

ok :)

I bought the 55KS7000 for £849 from JL back in December. Got it price matched to the curry's offer and all I will say is that I got lucky. Wonderful TV with True 10bit HDR.

How this one is different than 55XD7005 sold by John Lewis for 779.
