Afternoon and happy new year all. :)

Just thought i'd tell ya'll about a TV i've just picked up instore from the Sony Centre. Its a 32" bravia model, KDLS4000, priced at £399 with a 5 year warranty.

Yes i know you can get TVs just about anywhere of the same spec for about £350 BUT if you add into the mix that the warranty is worth about £130 (Based on Comet, Dixons, Currys etc prices for a 5 year warranty) it strikes me as a good deal.

Oh and its exactly the same spec as the KDL32V4000 model, just different casings.

No good to people who aren't bothed about having a warranty but for those who like the peace of mind

John Lewis do 5 year warranty on TV's and match prices, Costco do 3 year warranty.

If the TV itself isn't any better than the KDL32V4000 then it's not that hot for me I'm afraid.

Unless you know of somewhere thats given it V model a bad review as i couldn't find anything and it looked nice playing in the store.

And why mention Costco when they opnly do a 3 yr warranty, its not really comparable?
