The Wireless LAN adapter is optional (and rather pricey), but a cheap Tenda wireless router (set to bridge/repeater mode) should easily convert the TV's inbuilt Ethernet socket to wireless.

Hey, I don't know much at all about tv's but want a good 32" that has usb connections and internet tv (i.e. is this i-player etc.?). Can anyone tell me if the above deal is better than this one:

thanks!

Can't comment on the Samsung but bought this 403 from John Lewis a couple of months ago (5 year warranty) and its superb, freeview HD is stunning quality.

Mine's wired to the LAN but there's USB too, no iPlayer at the moment but should be around as their BR players have it.

One of the dupe deals was mine, my TV arrived yesterday and its gone fairly smoothly..

Picture, Sound, build quality all excellent. initial TV set up - very easy

However, registring the device to play Divx you have to download Divx player on a PC then either stream or usb a file that activates it. You also have to register with Sony to register the device.

I hard wired the Ethernet cable.

Once this was done it found all my media around 2Tb (via Windows Media player - you have to share with this device first) - All the Avi's and Music played fine, I never tried any HD files as I am not expecting them to play....

I also tried the USB port, once activted Avi's and music played fine. The XMB is very like the PS3 one.

I could not find a similar spec for the price....

Bought this telly a couple of days ago. Verry good. It doesn't need anything doing to get it to play divx via USB. Great picture quality.

Great mspec, great price, esp. with discount.
Have placed order and await my pleasure !!!

I've been looking at this TV for a few months now, and nearly paid £500 for it earlier in the year - very glad I waited! The DLNA stuff is great, and will save me having to use my PS3 to play content from my media server.

Ordered, although I just missed the last in stock - fingers crossed they get more in!

Strangley enough all my AVI files have decided they no longer play via the network.... I hav enot had chance to troubleshoot the problem but I couldnt get anything going last night.

How many years warranty does this offer have? As Sony Center is selling this for £399 with 5 years warranty

ordered the 40" from amazon last weekend as theywere offering 10% of ALL sony tvs over BH weekend - so paid £465 when next cheapest i could find was over £550. Looks great but i've not had chance to plug it in yet!!
