Some Info:

This TV features an integrated Freeview HD tuner which will allow you to watch subscription-free HD broadcasts. Experience TV, movies and games in superb Full HD on the Sony Bravia KDL32EX403U. Youll also be able to enjoy music, photos and videos from your digital devices via the USB Media Player.

The KDL32EX403U is Wi-Fi Ready so when you add your wireless adaptor or USB dongle you can easily connect to your wireless home network without the clutter of cables. With Bravia Internet Video youll be able to connect your TV directly to the Internet to access selected online services.

And lets not forget that the Sony KDL32EX403U is also DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compatible. This enables you to access your photos, music and movies from your PC across your home network from a compatible device. For instance, you could play your friends the latest MP3 track youve just downloaded, even though your computer is upstairs in the spare bedroom.

1080p is the purest form of high definition that a television can display. This leads to a smoother, more film-like image, which will satisfy sports and movie lovers alike. With a 1080p signal, the information that makes up an image is displayed progressively or all at once, rather than in an interlaced fashion.

£350 for this tv with 5 year guarantee is an absolute bargain. Ordered. Cheers op.

Here is the thread from the other day with the deal at argos for £400. Might be useful for people's comments and link to a review or two:

Couldn't resist...ordered one....

Just hope it picks up the HD signal from the communal aerial on my flat
#12
And I thought I was doing well when I got this last week for £450 with the trade-in. Lovely telly and far better sound than I was expecting.

As it was within their 28 day return policy I called John Lewis and just had £100 refunded. Very nice indeed.:)

Many,many thanks Double_en. Have some H+R and a virtual pint or three.

Thank you for finding this deal for us, we really appreciate it.

It's a slow starter as it has not even made the hot deals section 4 hours after posting, but I think it is fair to say that this will be several hundred degrees by the end of the day.

Does this open-up iPlayer? and can you just plug in a £10 wireless dongle?

One of those very very good deals that people want to keep hidden from masses. 50 pounds better than 400 price from argos and with free 5 year John Lewis warranty. Have some heat and rep OP.

Meh, don't really like trade-in offers unless if the current TV is EXTREMELY outdated.

Also T&C states:
http://www.sony.co.uk/res/attachment/file/75/1237478346975.pdf

£150 when purchasing a 46" or above Freeview HD Sony TV
£100 when purchasing a 40" Freeview HD Sony TV or a freesat Sony TV
£50 when purchasing a 32"-37" Freeview HD Sony TV

Shouldn't this give a saving of £50 and NOT £100?

Most people should be at work around this time.

Well, John Lewis are offering the trade in and the £100 discount comes off at the checkout online. It is their business what they actually get from Sony, if anything. If it was via a voucher from Sony, or had to be claimed from them, i wouldn't even have considered it after the way they turned down cahsback on their mp3s a few months ago.

You can trade in any old tv though, so I don't see what is not to like. An old black and white one in the cupboard, something from the local skip, makes no difference I wouldn't have thought.

I am not sure that the work issue is really relevant. Plenty of things become hot over the morning. I am posting from work. I am sure many others are too. Inclined to agree with webkami that some people won't vote hot because they want to order first themselves, or inform friends about the deal etc. By the end of the day it will be above 500 degrees I would guess.

Not long left to order I wouldn't think - only 9 in stock just now.
