Experience TV, movies and games in superb Full HD on the Sony Bravia KDL32EX403U. You’ll also be able to enjoy music, photos and videos from your digital devices via the USB Media Player.

The KDL32EX403U is also Wi-Fi Ready so when you add your wireless adaptor or USB dongle (sold separately) you can easily connect to your wireless home network without the clutter of cables. Fancy some catch up TV? With Bravia Internet Video you’ll be able to connect your TV directly to the Internet to access selected online services such as BBC iPlayer and YouTube.

The Bravia Engine 3 ensures that images are displayed with impressive detail, optimal contrast, and truer-to-life colours. S-Force Front Surround complements the great picture with the full effect of digital surround sound. The ‘Invisible’ speakers are cleverly hidden in the design and positioned for the ideal sound elevation.

Fans of the movies will love Cinema Mode. You can choose from two different modes to reproduce an authentic movie experience with unique film-like textures and adjusted colour and brightness settings.

And let’s not forget that the Sony KDL32EX403U is also DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compatible. This enables you to access your photos, music and movies from your PC across your home network from a compatible device. For instance, you could play your friends the latest MP3 track you’ve just downloaded, even though your computer is upstairs in the spare bedroom.

The Light Sensor on this model automatically reacts to the brightness of the room you’re in, making sure you always get the best picture. It also saves energy – and saves you money too.

1080p
1080p is the purest form of high definition that a television can display. This leads to a smoother, more film-like image, which will satisfy sports and movie lovers alike. With a 1080p signal, the information that makes up an image is displayed “progressively” or all at once, rather than in an “interlaced” fashion.

I think this is a great deal ... anyone else going to argue there is a better deal for a 32" before I place my order?
#2
This is better than the Richer Sounds deal I 'tried' to get this morning... Thinking whether to just order this one instead!
#3
Wow, what a deal. I paid £329 for an LG 32 inch a few months ago and that didn't have Freeview HD. I need this one with the extra warranty. Have some heat.
#4
If you want a 32" then this is a great deal. Buy it.
#5
I'm tempted to go John Lewis tomorrow and pick this up for the bedroom. Definitely getting some heat.

It's advertsied at 349 in my Sony Centre with 5 yr warranty. JL deal seems better.
#24
It just depends on which one, i.e. Meadow Hall and Trafford Centre are selling for £299.

But no 5yr warranty...
#26
Anyone know how long it will stay at this price for?
#27
Yes, with a 5 year warranty, if you go through checkout it states "Free 5 year warranty" numerous times. At least for the Trafford Centre branch, which is where I bought mine from.

I would normally buy from JL, but a potential 7 days for delivery would make life more difficult.

sony dongle is £60 - £70 extra, really tempted though. ( you’ll be able to connect your TV directly to the Internet to access selected online services such as BBC iPlayer and YouTube.

#30
When does the deal expire?
#31
Good price, looks like one of the very best specced 32" TVs on the market
#32
What do you need to make the internet TV stuff work, can I just plug in an Ethernet cable?
#33
Will this TV stream from my DLNA nas drive?

Media Support

Above: Video features on Sony KDL32EX403

Via the Ethernet connection on the back of the TV (or via an optional Wireless networking dongle), the Sony KDL32EX403 can connect to internet video services such as YouTube, DailyMotion, LoveFilm, etc. The HDTV can (supposedly) also access media files stored on connected DNLA-capable devices, but none of the documentation included with the TV (or on the TV in its on-screen manual) made it clear how this feature was to be enabled.

Its biggest down-sides are the slightly limited viewing angle (not something Sony can really avoid, given that this is an LCD TV) and its slightly high price, which may, for some users, be justified by its internet video and DNLA networking capabilities. Users looking for a smaller TV will find the Sony KDL32EX403 to be a solid choice that sits comfortably within the limitations and strengths of LCD technology.

Yes

Comet have it at £299 without the 5 year warranty, but they do price match JL (for up to 14 days after)

Richers Sounds may still have stock - I went in at 3 pm and they did. I asked for a dealer stamp for the free Sony 5 year guarantee thing (see other post on here), and they weren't sure that Richer Sounds were included. I stressed they were and walked out with a the TV and a 5 year guarantee for £299. :)
