1080p on a 32" tv will look no different than 720p on a 32" tv.

It really will! thats why people are buying the £500 1080p version!

this tv isn't 1080p, it is 720p and was the one JLP were selling at £299.

Sainsburys are selling it for £349 too which is probably easier to get to.

It is well worth paying extra for 1080p if your screen is 37" or above - even if you don't have HD you will still get the appearance of a better picture as the pixels are smaller.

Erm, it does, not as much as on a 40"+ set but the picture quality is better. It all depends on what source your watching if the difference is noticeable or not!

720p or 1080p

You've got to consider your viewing distance too aswell as screen size and the source which have already been mentioned.
