Same at Currys and Comet but 5 year guarantee sweetens the deal

Note it's only 50Hz

If the frequency is 100Hz with that price and 5 years warranty. I definitely will get it.
#3
Shame about the frame rate.

A terrific deal when you strip away the extras.. less £179 for the 5 year warranty, less £100 for a Freeview HD tuner leaves 200 quid for the rest of the TV!!

Bought this for £20 more at Sony with 5 year guarantee - absolutely beautiful set, colours perfect, automatically adjusts to the ambient lighting, USB will play practically anything and even the remote control looks the business. Couldn't recommend it more at this price, don't look at LG, Toshiba, etc... you will see the difference in picture quality and build quality with Sony TV's

Actually a bit disappointed with this set, colour looks wishy washy on HD channels, only one USB socket (which is annoying if you use the Wifi dongle), 2 of the HDMI's are on the side and stick out, which would look sh!t if wall mounted. Seriously, my 2 year old toshiba 42av635db looks better, but the tv is worth this money for the internet TV, DLNA support (I can even stream stuff to it from my HTC Desire) and free HD channels

I bought this TV and took it back the colours were grey and dull, When you go to the shop compare it to the 503 on that screen there much better. (also My wife noticed unless your head on to the Tv the colours and picture are quite hazzey (is that a word?)) The sales man said this is tSony's low end model and as such has a cheap screen. Got to say the features are great but just coundn't sand the picture. Pay more and get the 503 or a samsung LED now there's a good picture shame about the buzzing but thats another story. LOL

Foolish logic, but whatever helps you sleep at night.

There are endless settings on this screen and just like my Macbook Pro, the screen dims and brightens itself according to the surrounding light, which at first may seem odd, but from experience i have found it to be much more comfortable for the eyes. And if you don't like that, just tweak the settings.

Comparing it to higher end models like the 503 or even 703 is an endless process, but for this price and 5 years cover, it's cost of ownership is lower than TV licence itself.

I use it for Modern Warefare 2 on my PC and its a beauty. Even for Internet browsing at full HD resolution, the text is crystal clear. There is always better out there, depends how much you want to spend really! If you do go for anything higher, I'd go for Sony's LED models.

Are you retarded? 100 hz can be used to reduce motion blur why would you hate it?

Great question and one that I have been wondering with the billiard of posts from 50hz lovers...

50hz or 100hz, i dont think it will make a big differences to gaming. im using a crappy 23" technika with 1080p tech and its 50hz from tesco with my ps3, runs flawless
