Hi

Can anyone tell the differemce between the one posted above and this one (apart from price!)?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-KDL40EX403U-40-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B003BVI4C6/ref=cm_cr_pr_sims_t

Got it, the one posted is 100hz - does it make a big difference?

As Scrange said 'better motion quality' is the only real difference however the frame interpolation they use introduces a whole new set of problems. I prefer the small amount of blurring of the 'off' setting on my 503 to the weird motion it introduces when turned on. Unless you're a sports fan most TV is pretty static anyway...

I was looking at this TV on Comet only yesterday. You can get the TV and a Sony BDPS370 blu-ray player for £650 but seeing as I already own a Panasonic DMP-BD85, which is far superior, this is much more tempting. It'll go nicely with my Denon AVR-1911 and B&W MT-25 speaker setup.
