Buy this Sony Bravia TV and get £100 off when you trade in your old TV. Select the disposal below and enter the promotion code 'SONYTRADE100' at checkout. This reduces price from £599.95 to £499.95 and you just need to trade-in any working tv.

also comes with a 5 year john lewis warranty.

Click on link for specification of TV. trade in offer from sony runs from 28/3/11 to 5/6/11.

Cheapest I can find is PRC Direct which is £539 with trade in so this is a great deal for a 1080p 100hz internet tv.

Is this with any TV?

I have a working 14" portable trade in!
#3
Yea bigJaffa, i did it with a broken 14" portable last year :D
#4
Am sure this tv was £500 or so last week by itself with no trade in?
#5
Pretty certain this has been 599 at JL for a while so good for them to keeping price at same before promo (M&S jumped to 699 from 599 for promo)

PRC direct only good if near to store as promo is in store only

Got 40EX503 for £449 with 5yr gtee @ House of Fraser before the price changes
#6
This was £399 when I purchased one from Comet just after Christmas in the sale 8)

Yeah this telly has been £599 at JL for a while now, managed to get them to price match PRC @ £549 a few weeks back!
Fantastic panel with a stunning PQ once you have tweaked and set it up properly, highly recommended at this fantastic price of £500 HOT HOT HOT

bad input lag for gaming put me off this one.

great price if you are not interested in playing games on it
#9
I got this a while back for £449 at Richer Sounds with the 5yr warranty and no trade in, but now they are selling it for £604.94 with warranty with a trade-in, so this is a good deal at the minute.

Yeah I thought about that but then realized that pretty much no large TV was going to give me the same quality picture as my £400 24" DELL monitor, even my parents £1k Sony LCD downstairs doesn't come close when gaming!!
Unless your gonna be sat a good distance away then a smaller but higher quality PC monitor is far better for gaming imho.

Got this TV just before Christmas for £400 plus VAT back, so paid £360 for it. Great TV though.

Plasmas are better for gaming - some lcds are OK

The 40" c580 is amazing for gaming, if gaming is your thing, at £399 at Amazon at the minute.

It's a fantastic TV all round, probably the best TV in the sub £500 range.

It is by far the best TV I have used for Xbox 360 gaming. No lag at all, great picture, and a Game Mode which is nice and easy to use.

looks like a good deal although I am now looking at all the other deals on JL website on Sony TVs, some more expensive models have £300 or £200 trade in offer :) me think it is time for a new TV, it will be a Sony but which one...
#15
guys, I just cancelled my ex503 order and went for ex723 model (very latest model) which is quite latest one with 3D Ready tag and today I got a price match with House of Fraser so reducing the price to £899.99 and then £200 trade off, which makes it even more attractive i.e. £699.99, getting it delivered on Wednesday next week....
#16
Excellent deal, though i am thinking that some peoples claims of what they bought this tv for previously maybe getting confused with the lower EX403 model.

I agree. I've been tracking this TV for months now and never been this cheap.

Amazon had this tv for this price some 4 months ago, but only for a couple of hours one Friday afternoon! This tv at 499 coupled with a 5 yr john Lewis warranty is a bargain. I run mine with a ps3 with no lag or any other problems. Lovely tv. Hot deal. No brainer.

I went in store today and got one for £549.99, a further £100 off for the trade in too. Quite happy with that!
#26
prc direct are doing it for £519 after trade in with 5 year warranty. link here..... http://www.prcdirect.co.uk/home.php?cda=productlist&search=kdl40ex503u

if you fill out a john lewis price match form, link here.....
http://www.johnlewis.com/help/nkupricematchform.aspx
they may match the price depending on who deals with the price match as prc direct is only showing tv as collection from store only but john lewis have matched this in the past.

Or you could just goto the same store RichArab went to as he got his for £450 after trade in yesterday.

It is a great TV for around the £500 mark. even better at £450.
#27
Sorry, should have said - I was at John Lewis in Edinburgh. None in stock, they were ordering it in at that price so surprised its still so dear on the website.
#28
expired price now £699 less £100 trade in = £599
