Does this telly have Freeview aswell as the Freesat?

description is a bit vgue but does state feeview

Digital tunerDigital tuners give a better quality picture and let you receive extra channels without an additional Freeview box. Freeview

This TV has got great reviews.

The Sony Centres deal in Nov09 was really good - included blu-ray player +5 yr guarantee + freesat installation + 3 blu-ray discs. Missed that one, this deal doesn't include the extras.

But a decent price overall.

It has both

But it won't have Freeview HD and possibly not Freesat HD?

Need to take that into account, if that is important?

You're all saddoes voting this cold. This should be HOT, especially given 5yr warranty & JL customer service.. any deal on here should be evaluated on what is around NOW, not in tha past.

Most of those other deals refered to are not available anymore - including the EDC deal. Get real it's one of the most advanced LCD sets around and the price is about right.

Freeview HD is coming but not to all arras this year, and even for those that it will to get HD channels you'll have to bin your existing freeview box, PVR (including all Humax & Topfield models) and all existing TVs wont support it. You'll have to wait for tyhe TV manufacturers to catch up & the prices wil be high to start with.

I do think Freesat has a limtied lifespan though for HD content, but this set has standard freeview anyway which will be around for year to come.

If I remember correctly this was a 2 day special and you had to buy in store, so very good deal for those that could get to the store for a reasonable cost but limited by distance.
