It’s Smart too, boasting great catch up services, Skype compatibility, Twitter and full Opera browser. Along with 3D, it’s ready to take your viewing to a whole new level.

Exceptional images
Along with Full HD, 3D and a smooth digitally enhanced motion rate, this TV boasts X-Reality PRO, an advanced set of technologies that refines and sharpens every detail on-screen.

For sports fans…
Experience a stadium atmosphere in your own living room. Live Football Mode automatically adjusts the sound settings so the roar of the crowd is loud and clear. You can also browse football videos from YouTube and the FIFA sites with ease.

Touchpad remote
The One-Flick remote (available separately) will bring complete ease-of-use to this TV with its responsive touchpad and intuitive interface.
Screen mirroring
Through a simple wireless connection, screen mirroring lets you view your videos, photos, and more on your TV.

Sony HTCT60BT Soundbar

Offering superb value for money but all the performance and style you'd expect from Sony, the HTCT60BT soundbar is the perfect way to enhance your TV's sound.

VIRTUAL SURROUND FOR A SPACIOUS SOUND

The Sony HT-CT60BT gives a great boost to your TV's sound quality. By using good quality speakers within a dedicated cabinet, the sound is more realistic, broader and dynamic than typical TV speakers. Thanks to built-in Virtual Surround sound, the sound is also enveloping, giving you a feel of the full surround sound thrill.

POWERFUL BASS FROM A DEDICATED SUBWOOFER

A separate subwoofer frees up the soundbar from the compromise of doing two jobs at once. Instead it remains dedicated to the task of providing a holographic 3D sound stage, leaving the subwoofer free to provide deep, cinema-like bass. Using a dedicated 30 watt amplifier, the subwoofer has enough grunt to drive along soundtracks with real vigour.

STREAM MUSIC VIA NFC BLUETOOTH

Using NFC Bluetooth technology, you can connect up just about any smartphone, tablet or newer laptop, Mac or PC and stream your music. With compatible NFC devices, simply hold the unit next to the soundbar and you're good to stream. With Bluetooth you pair your device in the usual way. Once done, you'll be able to stream music from your stored library or from streaming music services such as Spotify or Last.fm.

SLEEK GOOD LOOKS AND WALL MOUNTABLE

Unlike other budget soundbars, the Sony HTCT60BT looks anything but. Its stylish hexagonal profile not only reduces the visual bulk of the unit but also helps in providing a more spacious sound stage. For enhanced flexibility a wall mountable bracket is also included - ideal if you already have your TV wall mounted. The separate subwoofer is finished in discreet matte black and can be easily tucked out of sight.

Enjoy the powerful sound that your TV simply can't reproduce, with the Sony HTCT60BT.

I'd be interested to know that. I was happy enough to pay £579 as it was £599.99 in Tesco at the time. May or may not have been all of about £20 cheaper online but I do NOT have much confidence in a TV being chucked around by couriers. From container ship to shop warehouse is the only transit I have confidence in. Also absolutely beside myself to say I won a PS4 with the 1 in 5 chances to win. :)

Lucky you! Since the PS4 is worth a lot more than £105 and you wouldn't have got it if you'd bought this, you did pretty damn good!
RE packaging & couriers, when I bought my Sony from the Sony Outlet it came double boxed, in its original one plus a slightly bigger plain brown,.which is what you want, but a Panny from Amazon came in just its box, and not plastic wrapped or anything - I don't want any potential burglars seeing what's being delivered to my place! It also came by Yodel, so that's another strikenagainst them. I'm surprised at Amazon, notorious for the most crazy overpacking, and THIS they choose to leave alone??

Since it was so short-lived, I'll assume that it was either a mistake (honoured or not, who knows?) or a very small number of ex-display / customer return units.
